German Shepherd dog

Too funny. TIG, I agree it is a bunch of BS concerning the origin of the Lance of Fran-Jo, and it is funny to say the least. Unfortunately, someone could easily fall for this (us against them = divide & conquer mentality) and do the "patriotic" thing and purchase a puppy from them. Those darned Germans.....how dare they do something like that?

I did make a peek at their website. The statement you pasted reminds me 100% of those I have seen on websites promoting the "Panda" Shepherd as the true old-world GSD of the past. Drat, the two (2) words that caused me so many issues in my youth come to mind: "Prove It!"

TIG, you are 100% correct.  This is one of the biggest line of BS I have ever heard.  Beyond absurdity.  How come so many Harrigan and scorpio offspring died early?  How about Harrigane and Scorpio, did they live long lives?  Why, why, why?

Very bad genes that is why, lethal genes infact. Almost all of the American Shephers (note they are not German Shepherds) are a mess physically and mentally.  I will concede that there are some rare exceptions like Dallas, but I would have never wanted to buy or own him, he was just okay.  My choice a decent looking, decent moving, decent acting WL or SL, actual, real German Shepherd from West German bloodlines (East German and Chec dogs are okay but not my preference).  I prefer black and braun, but dark sable is fine too as a second choice if the dog is good enough.

 Of course this is only MPO but, that's alot of butt ugly dogs to go along with the BS.

Boy can I tell you all about the Heidleburg Kennel in Houston , Texas....No his dogs are not okay.....I wont go there..BUt when Konig was stolen ,  a deputy who was on our case went to work at his place , just to see what he does there...You dont want to know...and most vets in Texas will tell you .....sorry take that dog back and dont buy the food he sells and makes on his place....I have a pic of his Jersey cows on his mansion sight  and the are big , nice ,heavy pigmented and great cows....but thats the cows  , not the dogs.....no way.....walk on back legs , no pigmentation and dogs that have problems galore come and have come from this kennel...he doesnt give you an akc registration,, you get a Heidleburg registration and when you breed the dog two times and he get half of each litter he sends you the akc registration....My vet has full knowledge of this scam , as he went toe to toe with Mr Gene Thompson over a little ole lady who had one in his office and she was very   m  a   d        she wanted her papers and found out she couldnt get.them..

Gene Thompson did testify in the trial of the crook I put behind bars , for me , and the Dept ., as he stole from Mr. THompson and misrepresented his credentials to Heidleburg , when he was employed in his place...

When Akc became familiar with me, from Texas...the Yellowrose,,,,there is always a little bit of an under flow of a joke about one other Texan , a man , who gets quite vocal with AKC and he gives them the run for their money and is not a nice camper........get the drift....I did ....and It is a standing joke...when I call from Texas.
