I couldnt resist posting these pics....Do you have pics to share with pups and children choosing their first pup.?

What do you tell the parents of these pups and how do you instruct them to care for the pups that are going home to a house with children and what about two pups  , one for each child...? Have you ever sold two pups to two small childrens home..?  This is for all of our new buyers of pups getting into the world of gsd..The father of these children is a LEO.

Very cute pups, great photos.  Think of how much richer and fuller the lives of these parents and kids will be having these fantastic GSDs.

This is the Lee family who chose a male for their children  .Mr. Lee is a VFD member.

  This is the second pup for this family..They had a pup out of  my original foundation male back in Houston and now they live in Tyler.

Because so many of my puppies go to folks with children or grandchildren I always give them a copy of a fantastic book about children and puppies.  It is called:

"Raising Puppies and Kids Together, a Guide for Parents"  by Pia Silbani and Lynn Eckhardt

It is the most excellent book I've read on the subject and great reference for the owners

Because I want new owners to maintain contact with me I always take their photo with their new fur baby and email a thank you immediately back to them so when they come home and open their email they will have a wonderful memory of the day they picked out their puppy and hopefully establish a lifelong connection to me.

There is nothing cuter than kids and puppies together:)

Crooked Creek Ranch:  Thanks for the book reference.....good deal...I will have to get that and read it.....Most new owners will read a book you recommend....seems to sink in better if a reading material..they can go back to and read...often.
