Sent a friend here to get a good laugh only to find the PC police had struck again. Can anyone tell me why this thread was deleted? If anyone copied it or saved it before the axing can you send me a copy. I especially want the post I think it was by Kali about the kids and the school teacher.

I don't know how the rest of you feel but I'm getting real tired of our  "moderators" and their selective fingers. I think Oli needs to make a decision whether this is an open board or a tightly controlled one opinion board. I for one vote for open. I'm a big girl and if I don''t like something someone says I can tell them that or ignore them or go elsewhere. Please note I do not like the trash talk and stupid name calling that goes on and I could live without that. However I would rather suffer that if need be if that is the only way to maintain  a board with a free flow of ideas and good discussions free from the thought police. Just MHO.

By the way Oli, thank you for the wonderful new feature of being able to google search the website.  That's huge.  How far back do you keep archives on the web board? ( I'm sure it's a storage issue but being able to retrieve past discussions can be very helpful).

TIG- I PM'd you the joke in it's original e-mail form...I can't take credit for it, a friend sent it to me. I hope no-one was offended...I mean, it insulted our (American) students, & no-one else...I thought it was one of those sad-but -true (& funny!) kind of things...jh
