oh no indeed.

Caffeine is dangerous, and can even be lethal to dogs. Don't think the dose is high enough, but every dog metabolizes these things differently. Once it is in the system it just needs to take its course, there is nothing else you can do. Not good.  I would check with the vet right away for instructions.

My problem with this is:  who held the can for her?  Or did she sit and hold it between her paws, slugging it down?  If it was a puddle on the floor, how come nobody saw this?  I suspect someone is putting us on.

Yes, caffeine is dangerous to dogs.  One of the reasons that chocolate can be toxic to dogs, along with other ingredients too.  They don't metabolise it like we do.  I don't think that she must have gotten much of it though at least.

Chocolate is dangerous, but not because of caffeine.

Caffeine is only moderately problematic, and you certainly can dilute its effects with food and liquid.  If a dog gets into caffeine, feed and water in large doses.

Theobromine (sp?) is the main culprit in chocolate that is dangerous.  But, in conjunction with the caffeine, it's not a good combo

My dogs have popped open soda cans cans, its totally feasible. Personally, I would take the opportunity to practice some nice fast recalls and send outs.
