German Shepherd dog

I have read people writing about good & nice & excellent german shepherds all these years I have been on this messageboard & I really admire all the dogs which have been talked/discussed thereon.  Which as per all of you is genuinely the best out of the best german shepherd dog in terms of standards, performance, progeny etc.?

I know this would possibly bring about a chaos on this messageboard, but I want to read the genuine views & perspectives of all the experts out here.

prasac, if you want to try searching the discussion database, I remember this topic coming up before, but I can't recall the exact title. That time around, quite a few people did give their opinions.

It might have been something like: "If you could have one dog", or maybe "best GSD of all time". Try a few search queries like that, and see what you turn up!

Listen, Dude.  I don't want to bicker.  It is just a question that I feel is pointless.  Besides, you're not very specific in what you wanted.  You are aware that there are 2 different types of GSDs, right?

With a little bit of research you can form your own opinion.  I understand you want others, but it is simple.  You can take statistics or opinions.  The same can be said for atheletes.  Who is the best Running Back of all time?  Stats=Emmit Smith, but popular opinion would be Barry Sanders, Jim Brown or Walter Payton.
