Just braggin'! I think our pups are the cutest! I have been shamelessly coddling my pups, but no amount of loving is keeping them small...so here are a few pix of the growing puppies, 1st shots and next worming are this week coming...they're getting so big! jackie harris |

This guy is my favorite. I may have to keep him too, as well as my sable female! I have more fun just watching & interacting with these pups...they are fascinating! Watching them figure out the world, & learn to manipulate their enviornment is the most fun I've had in years! No wonder folks get addicted to puppies! But, they are certainly a lot of work; although well worth it. They are calling me now...I must answer the call! jackie harris

They'll be 6 weeks on Tuesday! Time flies when you're having fun! And I'm in so much trouble with that little male pup, he comes & sits by my chair & looks up at me with 'love' eyes...there's no way I'll be able to give him up....yet I want to keep a female, sigh, that means I keep 2 of them-and hope for the best! Guess we'll have to go house shopping next; better come up with a winning lotto number soon! Carl, who started this joyful mess, just walks around shaking his head, "Mmmm-mmmm! You and your dogs! Mmmm-mmm!" But I catch him cuddling the puppies all the time! The other night, when I got home from work around 1:30 am, he got up, I thought to go to the bathroom, but he didn't return...so I tip-toed out to see where he was......he was sitting next to the puppies box, cradling a pup that had started to whimper when I came home! Too sweet! He's a big softie when it comes to the pups! jh |

Awe how adorable! My puppies will be here in a couple weeks so I too will be in the same boat (sigh) lol. I can't imagine not wanting to keep them all. I think my husband would definately have me and all my dogs sleeping in the garage for sure. lol |

YOu have done a good job..I remember how nervous you were and now you see why we breed these wonderful girls and boys...Yes lots of work but oh the joy of the little brains and the little personalities that erupt from that birthing box to the pen to the crate and to the outdoor pens with the love in their eyes...The are so bonded to you it is soooooo hard to sell one and kiss them good bye...They turn and look back and it brings tears to my eyes but I have hundreds of pics to look at and I get to see most of them...down the road....
Keep us informed.... |

HOW ADORABLE! Nice to see some cute little puppies, always! I'm missing mine, was expecting two litters and not getting any :( I bred them both to an older male who is in "semi-retirment" I guess you could say. But they didn't get to visit him long due to an emergency and was gone for a few days, so no puppies. But new boy will be home soon! Then I can look forward to little furballs running around the house all hours of the night! |

Thanks Everyone! They have me wound right around their little black tails! Oh, how I wish I had enough room to keep them all! I am excited about them going off to their new families, but also scared for them, kinda like sending your kids off to school....this morning I had them outside in the chilly air, they played hard for awhile then tried to climb into my lap; I wound up with all of them piled up under my chair, like a mother hen. Sometimes I am so swarmed with little fuzzy black piranhas that i have to balance on one foot, 'cause I can't find a spot to put my other foot down! I had one puppy person back out, they had a GSD that had passed away at the ripe old age of 13, and they decided to get a puppy right away, and not wait for my boy to be ready, so I am looking for a home for a sable male again; that scares me, I was happy to know they all had great people waiting for them. Now there is that uncertainty again, will my kid have a good home? Believe me, he'll stay here with me until just the right person/family is found! He's the pup pictured at the top of the thread, called Ansel. He's a little fuzzball, very sweet, but turns it on when his brothers challenge him! My two females are little terrors! The tear around beating up everyone, and then when the heavier males finally kick their little butts, they scream bloody murder! But it doesn't stop them, they come right back for more! Whenever I hear a ruckus, it's the females stirring up trouble! Are all female pups such little toughies? It's hysterical! They rule! jackie harris |
