If he he getting a well balanced diet he will NOT require extra vitamins.  In fact if you give extras unnecessarily you can cause additional problems.

No vitamins  not necessary   . Start raw meats, cottage cheese, extra virgin olive oil,,,salmon oil, yogurt , into the dogs diet and vary from day to day different oils...these give natural vitamins as store bought vitamins are products of chemical labs.

They do make several suppliments when dogs get older , that are good in case yu cant use raw meats for travel purposes.

Feed a quality food for large breed puppy's,  keep things consistant and any changes you make do it gradually.   I wouldn't want to make a brand endorsement as everyone has they're favorite and there is alot of difference of opinion here including the raw diet.    I do add extra's sometimes but it can spoil the dog to where it may become a picky eater.

Treats can be healthy like carrots, my dog likes them.    Sometimes I add an egg to food, or a slice of cheese.    Dogs do get bored with their food and it doen't hurt to mix it up a little by adding something once in a while.   A can of salmon can be added a little at a time, vegetables, and meat scraps are great.   I have dogs that eat good consistantly and I have one who's a picky eater.    I have a pup who will and does eat anything including orange and tangerines.

Just dont buy into suppliments or vitamines, they can do more harm than good sometimes.   A good diet that remains constant makes more sense.   And a fat dog is not a healthy dog, dont forget plenty of excersize before feeding and rest time afterwards.

Stay away from kibble.  Pet food manufacturers have to add supplements because the cooking process removes nutrients from the food and the fillers used in the kibble offer no nutrition for the dogs.  Simply feed a species appropriate, prey model diet and the dog will be fine.  Use of salmon oil is accepted, but is really the only supplement that is needed.

forget the vitamins you will repent giving them Its more in the human mind than any actual benefit to the dog.

Just feed good diet whatever balanced kibble or natural your decision.

As long as you are feeding a quality dog food and using Nupro....you really don't need anything else. My fried had a dog that was sickly and the vet told her to quit the PetTabs if she was feeding Nupro. Your puppy's coat should be great too.
