I have a good opportunity to sell my existing home, which seems like a good thing to do given the current economic conditions and a couple of other issues.

Due to this, I’m actively looking for rental opportunities in the Northern VA area for myself and 3 GSDs.  They are house broken, spend all time unsupervised in indoor kennels, which I’ll be moving with me and are never out without me.  I also do not have an issue kenneling them outside if the right opportunity exists. (Existing outdoor kennels, outbuilding, barn, etc.) I’m open to complete rentals, or sharing an existing situation with someone.

If anyone has ideas/leads/suggestions please let me know.  If you prefer you contact me via PM and I can provide my phone number and email if you’d prefer to refer individuals you know to me.

Thanks,

-Calvin

Calvin, I'm not in your area but have you tried looking Craigslist?  They have a large real estate section and you can also post what you are looking for in a pet friendly landlord.  I've had good responses myself from that site.

Here's the link for the N. Virginia area.  http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/

My friend, George, will be vacating his house soon. It is located in the heart of D.C.  I don't know if the house is available, but they do have 4 and 8 year leases and if you die or are kicked out, then your best friend will take over the lease immediately.  Everyone that has lived in this house has had a dog or two.  It is kinda the thing!   As long as the dog does not chew up or urinate on the rose garden, I think you'll be fine.
