Yes ratings by the SV are given at a younger age, not sure what exactly...either 12 or 14 mos. Sure someone that know's will clairfy. |

1yr for SV. 2yrs for OFA. |

|
| You can get the a stamp at one year. |

if you look at the birth date- he's not a year old yet....... maybe they entered the wrong info |
|

And if you accidently enter info for some reason it won't let you change it. But yes, if the dog is registered with the SV/USA you can get their hips certified at 12 months. It takes awhile, sometimes several months and you can do it through USA. USA can also submit elbow xrays to the SV for evaluation. The dog's original papers go with the xrays and the results are noted in the pedigree. |

You can submit to SV for hips and elbows through WDA also. The dog does not have to be registered SV/USA. |

I noticed that the other day on the database and wondered how a 10 mo. old is rated...and how someone can make that good of a mistake.....When you enter on the database you have to be very precise what you fill in the blanks with.....how can you put a rating in if you dont have one?????? |

I noticed a few VA sable Schh1 working line dogs - how is that possible? Answer: it's not. But sure makes the dogs sound good to those who don't know it's not possible!

I wonder if they meant to update the sire or dam? The sire looks familier....... |

lol Molly
that would be Va pandemonium who has about three entries on here. |

So where, pray tell, did Schh1 sable female working line Pandemonium get the VA rating, when it's only possible to get VA at a Seiger Show, and with minimum Schh2 (correct me if I'm wrong)

my thoughts exactly. I always laugh everytime I see it. |

I must be wrong about the title requirement then - I had thought a dog wasn't eligible for VA with "only" Schh1. - still can't get VA at a club or regional level conformation show, and I've never heard of a sable working line dog getting one. Just proves that anyone can add anything on this database and some people who don't know better, may believe it.

I think on one of his multiple pedigrees on here. he has the VA as part of the dog's name. I'm guessing that the dog doesn't even have a show rating. :) |

Its for sure the SV did not rate this dog.....

Regarding the female you saw on the photo at http://www.angesgardiens.ca/ANG/BonienPed-En.htm it is Bonien von Haus Milesevac and she got her VA in Croatia : she was VA1 at 2005 Croatian Sieger Show; June, 2005 in Vrbovec,Croatia, SV judge: Scheerer Heinz and Bosl Erich. I remember her sa excellent dog in any aspect, worthy of her title in a very strong competition. I had the pleasure of helping a bit during her purchase.
