AWDF scores or flight info? (77 replies)
The AWDF site has not been updated. Anyone out there know scores or flight info? |
| I only know that Flight 3 includes is Les Flores, Wallace Payne, Jessy Gabriel, and Butch Henderson. That should be one interesting flight to watch.
Sue-- when is Gabor up? |
Just checked the weather report, strong storms today with rain possible tomorrow. Looks like the flights out today could have some weather related scoring problems.
I just got a call from one of the IPO 2's and he got a 98 in protection |
Mike Diehl 97, Gabor 96 in tracking. So far (unofficial) only two V scores in tracking.
Couple of 95s and below. Ivan got 90.

Garry Hanarhan has pulled. No reason given yet. |
Gary, Kevin L, Carlos, and Charlie Meszaros all pulled prior. |
Has Beth Bradley and Nate gone yet? Wish things would be updated on the site. |
Fh tracks just begun as well.I don't imaginee the site will update till late tonight if that. Between a few of us here, we should get updates from the few lucky ones who are attending. |

Stonehaus,
I don't suppose you have any scores for Rosellen Westerhoff and Ura ot Vitosha? She is my good friend and the sole Montana competitor :-) It is sort of neat that her two sons are also competing down there as well.
Thanks for the updates they are greatly appreciative. |

Hi Jay!
Isn't Dennis going for Zenos FH? Do you know how they are doing? |
I heard that Dennis and Zeno did better than most, with a score of 54. All but two FH's failed - Kandi and Hawk came in 5th with a score of 18 :) - FH tracks are difficult in the best of conditions - the conditions yesterday were flooded fields, running water over the tracks, pouring rain, high winds and tornado warnings. The fact that two passed, one with 92, and Carlos with his amazing "tracking machine" Ikke with 96 - is simply incredible.

Hey Cole, Molly beat me to the punch.I have heard that the tracking conditions yesterday were just as horrible as Molly stated.I was interested to hear how Zeno did.But not so good. Carlos definetly earned the win. |

Yes Stonehaus thank you and your friend for the posting on the scores at the AWDF. It is much appreciated. As anyone heard how Dean Calderon has doing? This is the big first trial with his new dog.

Thanks Stonehaus! Great updates. |

Dean shows late this afternoon in Ob and Prot, tracking tomorrow. Mark Soccoccio with Joker just finished up with a 95-96-99. Not to shabby for a young man with only a hand full of trials under his belt!

Thanks Stonehaus... just came in, sat down in front of the computer and what a surprise - I wasn't expecting him to show until later. |

Too bad about the rotten conditions for the FH. I know Dennis was working hard with Zeno for the event. It sounds like Carlos rocked it out with a 96 though! |

That's it for the day. Guess we will have to hold or breath till tomorrow for final results. Nice scores put out by the Mali's. We need the GSD's to come thru in a pinch. |

Do keep us posted!
I train with Beth sometimes and glad to hear that her Nate did well for her in tracking! |

Daniela Bedenice and her dog Olesko vom Sanstein-they were one of the two teams that passed the FH, she got 92 points- is our club, I am so thrilled about what they accomplished. GO OUTKAST, GO NEW ENGLAND !!
Olesko is her first dog, just 5 years old, he is 100% showline and is probably one of the dogs with the most titles in the US. He has SchH3, IPO3 (with a V score), FH 1 (96), FH 2 (98), is New England Regionals FH Champion, has a CD, TD, a personal protection title and was asked to represent the United States in Ring 1 at the Ring Worlds last year. Further is he SG in the body and Kkl.1.
This is a case where I am asking myself why showline breeder are not knocking at her door on regular basis. This really is an outstanding team. Congrats Danny, Wir sind stolz auf Dich !!!

Yes, congrats to her under such tough conditions. Sounds like she has a great showline. |

I hope somebody will pitch in tommorow with updates.I will be at training all day so i want be near the computer.Good luck to the rest of the teams. |

When I left 3Pm today Mike Diehl was the one to catch...Eric Eisenberg, James Honda have two very good scores thus far...lots of nice dogs...I was really impressed with the protection routine on Mike Diehls dog this morning he is a good looking boy as well. Marlene |

| Claudia,
Excellent question and I'd be very interested in hearing the answer. When I asked the same question a few years ago regarding Laius v Morrbeck ( VA in Canada and went to the WUSV Championship, TWICE), the answers were :
(1) "He's in France, now." This from show folks who ship bitches to Germany for breeding several times a year.
(2) " He needs more upper arm length." A show line dog that held his own (270) at the World's. |

Anyone know what happened to Jim Hill? Says pulled due to handler injury. |

Congrats to Mark. Dean C should be high up in the placements too !!!
Way to go guys! |

in regards to claudia's post about olesko v sandstein........
i am truly impressed. here is a dog that can/has done it all and looks gorgeous as well.
yet, in searching the database, i see no progeny listed for this fine dog. i believe this
fella could be used by both the show folks as well as the working advocates. he seems
to posess the whole package. i hope to hear in the future, that he has passed his fine
traits off to kids and grandkids. this is just the sort of dog we need to keep our eye on, folks.
if bred to the right females, his blood could be incorporated into lines from both camps.
best wishes to daniela and olesko!

Sorry I misspelled Mike too. It must be that 3rd grade education.Got excited about posting the podium. |

LOL and I meant Hall and not Hill. I think the fact that it's finally about 50 in Michigan has gotten me light headed. |

It's the dogs. |

Stonehaus,
looks like Beth came in 4th with 100 88 97 right? |
Did not get the other scores because I was out in the field.Sounds good though.I have heard through the grapevine how well her dog tracks. |
Beth ended up 5th. I didn't see initially that there was another Mali with a 287 |
The Mals had good representation. 9 Dogs with over 270.The only other 2 Mals in the IPO 3 scored above 250. Strong numbers.

Stonehaus
Are you going to count the two that failed phase 1?
This is a hard trial for all the people that live in northern regions. The weather has been brutal and tracking has been put on a back burner. When you have an early trial like this, it is hard to get the tracking reps in up here. I think that is why some regions moved their Regionals back to early fall. |
Hey Don, no didn't look down the page that far. This is more an IPO 3 tourny in my eyes.Although people like trying to say they competed at the national level ,even if it was for a BH,IPO 1 ,or IPO 2. I understand the tracking conditions reflect training as well.We have to track all winter here because when it gets warm we have the fire ants to contend with.Everybody has to deal with adverse conditions.I would imagine places like Alaska, the dakotas, and maybe other northern places like where you are from are tough too when it stays so cold so long. I will say I like having the early trials because we are able to track more over the winter.I guess someone will always have some type of advantage there. |
Stonehaus
I was only counting the IPO3s.
Yeah, I thought about how dry and crappy it gets for those in the south during the summer leading into the fall trials. |
I thought you meant IPO 1 not phase one.My fault.Guess I missed that.I am not a Mal guy so believe me I am not tooting there horn loud.LOL |
