| I am putting my dog through Prolotherapy treatments for his back. I have decided to do the holistic way with his particular situation. He is only two and if I can avoid putting him through a spine surgery I will. I have gone to three different specialists and recieved a couple answers. One says Cauda Equina another says LS Disease (Lumbosacral Stenosis) and another thinks trauma. we have had his hips and spine X-Rayed. Have any of you heard of Prolotherapy or have used this treatment for their dogs wether it was used for the spine or not? |

| Alex, after my dog's injury, MRI, and three vets pretty much telling me that a surgery is too much invasion, I decided to go the holistic route. All three vets ruled out a genetic issue, found some scar tissue on lower part of my male's back (this was a year after the injury) they all send me to a holistic vet! ( I love vets that are OK with doing it the "other" way). So I met with the vet and she checked the x-rays, MRI and told me that we need to try the Biopuncture first (less painful, not as dense enzymes but similar to Prolo) After a year of not much changes, one day he simply got better! He is healthy, jumping, running and gets worked in protection about once a month for fun. Well worth the money and time. I think he is starting to have arthritis now as the result of his injury but he is not showing much. I did the Biopuncture along with acupuncture. Prolo is a good way to try. M |

| Thank you so much! I will ask my vet about tthat. So far we have only gone through two prolo sessions. He seems to have his old energy back for a few weeks and feels good enough to jump more but not stand on his hind legs. Our goal is to work him again if he fully recovers. His sensitivity just came out of nowhere. Thank you again I will look into biopuncture as well. |

| There is some value to holistic therapies...prolotherapy has no scientific basis. |
