Don't let the light fool you, she is solid black without a mark on her anywhere - not even between the toes or under her tail - lol! She is a handful already. Weight in this picture is 1lb 12.2 oz.

Where's the 'like' button when you need it? :D

Today she weighed in before breakfast at 2 pounds solid. And her eyes are open! And yeah, Sunsilver you are right, where is the like button or the thumbs up button? LOL!!!!

can you fedx the extra milk from your female since she only has one, my female has 7 and kinda struggles with keeping up the demand and yes maybe its the flash but the picture looks like she has some lighter hairs in there, from some of Hanks still pictures he seems to be a very dark sable, the odds would have placed her color sable instead of solid black.

Please send milk.

Bundishep: Do you know about the mama dogs cocktail: Some kind of broth; chicken, beef, or whatever; I always used chicken broth, but beef is good also, make it yourself; or use low sodium store bought' add an egg yolk (yolk only) a bit of kayo light syrup, just a little bit and add accordingly; shake up well and serve at room temperature.; 3 times per day about l cup each feeding, ; large litter maybe a bit more. Give mama dog all the food she wants and plenty of fresh water. YOu can add other things for her, BUT you can also over do it. Keep it simple. Hope it helps. Nan

I read that singleton puppies can have major development problems as they don't have siblings to learn rules. Don't know if true or not but maybe other breeders can chime in.... In my reading, the breeder of a singleton now always tries to place the pup with another litter locally. I wonder if there is truth to this or not. Very cute puppy and wishing you all the best!!

Taz is doing well and thanks for all the info. She is not being raised as a singleton at least for the first 8 weeks of her life, so that is a good thing. With regard to color, I will be very surprised if she turns to a dark sable. Her mom has black recessive and Hank has been known to throw solid blacks but either way, she is already loved to the max and I can't wait to see what she grows into as a working dog!
