Going on well, Take your time and make it all fun for the little Guy, an old saying pushed into me by my old Karate Master, 'Those in Haste go no where', It is true in all things in life The Pup looks keen and is doing well, and most important you look as if you are enjoying it Steve

Lovely baby :) Is this your first puppy?
by tiffae89 on 29 July 2009 - 02:36 |
Xeph: First for Schutzhund yes. My last male (East German lines) had a hairline fracture so we pulled him out. It happend before we got him. My first dog was a Beagle and I was 7. After that I got my first GSD Rescue, Noah, when I was 14. I currently have Atlas (my East German Male) Ocean (the pup you see in the picture) and Isabelle (a Beagle Jack Russell X) Ocean has been a dream so far and has to be the coolest puppy I have ever trained! :) I'm very proud of her.

Nice looking dog. You are a good owner for sure. Make sure you max out prey drive and be careful using a handler on a young dog. You need to slowly build confidence and then the dog will get to a point where it could never imagine losing. I noticed one photo indicates use of the front bite (GSD's have two bite positions of the jaw). Your helper may have the dog focused on him vs. the bite tug. Keep up the good work. GSD Justice
