| Hello, I feed my dogs a combination of raw and cooked food. The breeder I got my GSD pup from was feeding brown rice, carrots, hamburg all cooked with commercial dog food and milk mixed in. The pup was also getting raw beef bones. I feed my 1 1/2 year GSD raw including raw chicken carcasses and chicken wing tips. if I feed the pup who is 13 weeks old now with the other dog he tries to steal the wing tips and carcasses out of her dish. I have started giving him raw heart, tongue, liver and ground chicken and turkey with bone (all organic) instead of the cooked hamburg. He loves the raw meat and now doesn't care much for the commercial dog food that I mix in. So far I've been using bonemeal to balance. I'm wondering if its ok to give him raw chicken wing tips or should I wait until he gets his adult teeth? Thanks, Juno11 |

| Mine are eating rawchicken bones at 5 weeks. I think your 13 week old pup will be fine. |

| Keep him on a all raw diet. Forget the kibble! 13 weeks he can eat just about anything. Give him a chicken quarter and watch him go to town. LOL Just keep it balanced. Yogurt, organ's at least once a week. I do twice a week. Plenty of great raw feeding website's out there. I've never had healthier, or better looking GSD's since switching to raw a couple years ago.
