My showline killed a woodchuck yesterday, and a second one today.  He seems awfully proud of himself. This is his first blood. All those squirrels and never a capture, so we just couldn't say if he was a real "killer", or not. Well, that's what the little kid is calling him, because he saw the second kill happen.

Feed that dog and he won't have to go out and catch his own...

Mmm, tastes like chicken..... -------- all kidding aside, this is instinctive dog behavior. If it runs, the dog will chase. If the dog catches the prey, all bets are off. Best bet, train dog to leave prey alone.

Not much fight at all. Still had the clover in its mouth. They were this year's babies. The slaughter wasn't fair. I agree.
