| Simple.... Brush more often. I use a grooming rake at least three times a day. No hair balls in my house. |

| @Anthony, you brush 3x a day?! Sheesh, I wish I had the time for that. I brush 2-3x a week, they have all been on raw since they were pups, and the two shepherds are unneutered, the mix is. It's still an uphill battle, but I will look into maybe some fish oil caplets as wel as all the other suggestions. Thank you all! |

| rake and blow can't afford to go to a groomer monthly but my leaf blower works great. just have to remember to use goggles or the hair gets in my eyes. Trudy |

| I am a professional groomer and I own several GSD I would NOT live with out a forced air dryer !!! I do not use furminater as they break and destroy hair I brush with a rake and bath and blow out as needed. Brushing is mostly for "bonding" as the forced air dryer removes most of the coat with ease. |
