| I have read a few other posts that give puppy weights around 12-13 lbs at around this age. I get the impression these are considered big puppies..... Well, if those are big puppies, then mine are enormous . ---------------- All, but one of mine are weighing in at 14 plus lbs. Even the smallest of the bunch is 12 lbs. the all have a nice waist to them and all are eating on the max side of the recommended feeding per day. ---------------- Lol does this mean my pups will rival miniature horses? Rose is small (52 lbs) and Coza is 85 lbs..... |

My puppies weighed 6.5 - 7 kgs at 7 weeks Just converted 14.3 - 15.4 lbs |

| Mine was 10lb at 7.5 weeks. He's now 17 months and 75-80lb. Weight at that age has as much to do with litter size as it has to do with genetics. |

| I have to agree with Emoore, the smaller the litter, the larger the pups will be at that age, cause they get more milk! My large litters are always smaller sized pups. |

| Well Janna was 12 lb at 9 weeks and Ace was 20lb at 8 weeks. The pup staying with me now was 15lb at 8 weeks. There is a pretty wide variation to normal. At 2 ace is about 85-90lb and Janna is a rock solid 65lb. |

| My litter weighed almost 2lbs at birth. At 8weeks all were just over 24lbs. Now at 3months, one male is 45lbs, one is 39lbs and the female is 37lbs. Another female I have is 18lbs at 8weeks. My stud throws huge bone and substance and all 4 litters he has sired have been huge. Elizabeth |
