| starrchar my dog is male but thanks anyway!! his dad is long coat and his mom is stock coat!! is there a chanse for a "Medium long hair" or something? :P |

| Skortos, Sorry! I don't know why I assumed your pup was a female! Very handsome boy :) With coaties there are many coat variations. Some look like woolie bears and others have a coat barley longer than a "plushy" stock coat, and then there is everything in between. Here is a website, that will give you an idea of the many variations:http://www.house-barrett.com/index1.htm Check out all their dogs and you will see! Only time will tell what your boy's coat will be like. It definitely is possible that his coat will be at the less extreme end of the long coat spectrum, but there are no guarantees. |

| Hes certainly got "fuzzy" ears but does not seem to have furry feet !! so yes, he may be less coated that you might expect at this time -- it will change at least twice and not be what it will be probably until he is almost 2 years old. One of my males had wavy fur over his back/croup for over 2 years -- now that he i going on 5 years - it just looks like a thick double coat - he is definately not coated -- just had this crazy "bed-head" fur for quite a while. Regarless of the fur length - they luv you just the same. Just don't tell him he's different. or let him look in a mirror !! tee hee |

| May end up being a nominal long-coat. Tufts on ears, maybe flags on legs, but not a really long (may not even be long by the rules) coat. I have a female that is like that and has to compete in the LC division under UScA and has been VP1 and SG1. |
