Me too. Waiko is a beautiful dog, very deserving of a Va rating IMO.

I believe the progeny group ius finally what led the judge to give him his VA rating. He will put his stamp on his progeny that is for sure. Pictures do not do this dog justice you have to see him in person to really appreciate how beautiful he is.

Well the picture is a gorgeous handsome boy for sure.. !!

You should see him in the flesh. The photo here doesn't do him justice IMO.

Congratulations to a job well done David and Randy, commitment to the cause has brought you success! Congratulations also to Waiko, whose spirit and dedication has finally been appreciated. What people should also know is what a good temperment he has. It is also personally satisfying for me to see sables doing well in the ring. - Hugh

I'm back from the show and almost settled back in. I'm overwhelmed by the support and appreciation here. There is more I would like to write about the show in the next day or so. There seems to be lots to say about the current GSD climate. Thanks to Waiko's owner David for allowing me to campagin him. He's a truly wonderful male. Thanks to those that supported him and went to extreme measures to get his progeny to the show. (More on that later) There are many good things to say about him, I would prefer the helpers that have worked him, the breeders that have bred to him, and the people that have progeny from him share their opinion. I'm obviously biased.

Well, I must say that I've used Waiko twice and have been very, very pleased with what I've gotten from him (e.g., a male, Ne plus ultra Fatimo, that went VP1 at the NASS and VP2 this past weekend at the USA Sieger Show and a female, Ne plus ultra Fatima, that went VP7 out of a class of 17 nice dogs; not to mention, this girl has impressive drive...)! In fact, I bred another one of my girls, V SchH1 Jamaika vom Valtenberg, to him today and expect his progeny from this breeding to be just as nice:-). Again, congrats to Waiko, David, Randy and all others that provided their support--it was a pleasure to be a part of such a great team! Rick
