You guys played right into the plan by assuming that this dog would be rehomed before surgery. Why do you think the ad was placed on the net in the first place? Now it's back to justifying the condenscending attitude regarding how stupid and judgemental everyone else is. |

| And interesting that a needed surgery is being called "an investment". I think I will teach myself to knit, next! |

| Finally, the evil-doer has been vanquished! First, the attack began on the battlefield of No Refundia. Sadly, the quarry countered and all seemed lost. But lo, the righteous ladies rallied around the banner of When To Refund and sallied forth in great numbers! The BEAST struck back with Condescension and nay, even Sarcasm. Our great champions of Forumlandia did not falter, but gathered their numbers and laid seige to the hill of Sewing Circle Approved Advertisement Timing And Post Word Choice (named by committee). Here, the great battle finally won, they ask for no reward for their bravery but that we rest easy in comfort and safety. I must now wipe the tears from my cheeks. |

| LOL@mollyandjack. You seem to want to forget who started this thread! Did THound get their money back, as the dog was accepted as a return due to defect? They should have by now. Isn't that more to the point? |

| Do I? Bee may take that an an insult. YOU remind me of Aakay (that might not be spelled right). Maybe we take on the personality of others who we admire? |

| Who gets the refunds, ladies! That's the point. Not the finger pointing of red-herring deliverers, we all know we not each other. |

| Talk is cheap, and seems to be a hobby many breeders thrive at. Putting your money where your mouth is/has been seems to be the hard part. |

| LOL, Bee, you are the ruling queen. Just a wild guess, Joanro. Agree .....walking the walk or just talking the talk? Time will tell. |

As far as the pup "I" had....he was well taken care of and at training every week for all to see. He had issues from the very beginning and did not want to do much physically. Because I was informed a brother from another litter acted the same way until he was 7 months, I didn't worry too much. I kept in touch with said breeder about all issues regarding him. There were a few instances when she offered to take him back, one being when his top canine came in deformed, and I declined even though this would affect his future. When he started limping and I was told his littermate also limped, I was upset .At breeders advise I took out insurance but could not stand to see him suffer and took him in to a specialist on my own dime. I was blown away by the xrays .Breeder once again offered to take him back. I was offered a replacement adult that was returned and I declined. I was told I could "sell" this dog for more money if I wanted. I am not a broker...sorry.There were no litters in sight and when I found out other dogs from breeder have also had some undesirable xrays I felt a replacement was not an option. After much thought and heartache we deciding returning him back to the breeder would be best , I opted for the "life time buy back guarantee" this breeder boasts about. Unfortunately this all a bunch of hot air seeing she has stooped low enough to accuse neglect/abuse to get out of paying up. I have documentation that shows there were no problems between us until I asked for the money. Then all of a sudden he was abused. I do not take this situation lightly. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do involving a choice for one of my dogs. $1500 is substantial amount and I am not going to just right it off. the surgeon felt he would have limited mobility and we felt he would do better in a home with less "action". He certainly would not be fit for Schutzhund or any strenuous activities. I turned over the insurance when I returned him 4 1/2 weeks ago , I do not know why it was not utilised. The question is...why would you offer future pups or even an adult to a person you just claimed was abusive and neglectful??????? I at least have documented witnesses who will attest to the care and treatment my dogs get unlike the phantom ones that supposedly report to said breeder. |
