Ron, First he made the handler stay at the designated point, he made them bark continously for up to a minute and THEN when the handler walked over and took up their position behind the dog he again let the dog bark for a while. for many dogs they were so programmed into expecting the hear/fuss within short time of handler coming in, that they started turning head to see when they would get called....lol. The professional dogs and professional handlers weren't bothered by this as much as the club dogs.

Alloway, Great job hosting and running this event. It was very well organized and completely top class in every way! You and your very dedicated club deserve a lot of credit for this event running as smoothly as it did. The amount of time and effort your club put in really showed. Great venue and everything was close to the host hotel. Great work by all the competitors! Thanks again for a great event! --Steve

Every dog-handler team out there earned each and every point in protection is Deacon was the judge! That man uses a scalpel instead of a pencil Doug is a fair but firm judge, but no matter what level you trial under him at club-national, you earn your points, there are NO 'gimmes' with him, not even for those that are 'too pretty' Once again, congratulations to all
