The owner used to post often on the forum. I believe most will have only good things to say. I know when a suitable puppy wasn't produced in one of her litters she returned the puppy deposit. I dont know many breeders who would do that.

Hi.....I have two wonderful females I purchased from Kim and I could not have asked for two nicer quality pups, or a more honest person to do business with. She sent me just what I was looking for each time. I'm so pleased with these girls that I am purchasing my 3rd female from her out of the Rookie/Gala breeding once that takes place. My two are from her Rookie/Tika breeding. Rhoda

| I have known Kim for many years. We are not close friends, but rather friendly acquaintences. I live about 10-15 minues from her. I have met her dogs a number of times. They are all excellent GSD's. Generally, heavy boned and thick coats. They alll seem to be very biddable. My puppy that I bought from her just turned one year old. She is a spectacullar amazon. | I can only remember GOOD things being said about her and her dogs, and if memory serves me right, her dogs are rather beautiful. |

She has one incredibly ugly dog named Rookie, I swear, that dog is hiddeous.......I just wish she'd send him over to me. Obviously, I'm kidding. That is one of THE best looking Shepherds I've ever seen. Can't say I know much about her or her breeding practices, but everyone seems to have good things to say about her.

Haha GSDguy good one, yes he is a good looking shepherd, I also like the female's she has also. I have tried to contact her on here and via email but no response so I figured I ask here and try and talk to someone who has purchased from her.

Kim has family obligations, I believe, that keep her unavailable at times...plus she does a lot of showing. I hope to own a Rookie pup someday. jackie harris

I actually have a question about JustK9s. Please don't take this the wrong way as I don't know Kim from Adam and have nothing at all against her; this is just me on the outside looking in. All I hear is that working-line GSD breeders should work and title in Schutzhund, and that the DDR dogs are being "dumbed down" to sell big-headed, heavy-boned, pets to people who want the color and the look but don't want to deal with the seriousness and intensity of the the original DDR dogs. Kim looks like a very nice lady with very nice dogs that she does some AKC pet obedience (CGC, Rally, CD) with. From the outside looking in, she *looks* like someone breeding big, dark sable dogs for the pet market. And yet all I hear is good things about her. What gives? Please please don't take this as bashing because it's not. There are people I like and respect, who have respect for Kim. I'm saying what it looks like from the outside; I'm hoping someone who knows the inside story can tell me.

Lol, Yeah. I believe she trains her dogs when she gets the chance and several of her puppies have gone to work/sport homes. Doesn't hurt that they have great temperaments and are versatile. (So I hear) Would love to get one of those babies over here one day. :) Alas, I have to admire from afar. ;)

I am hoping to get a pup from Kim next year! It can be hard to take care of dogs, family and travel hours to club and to shows so not every one can do this.

" It can be hard to take care of dogs, family and travel hours to club and to shows so not every one can do this." I understand, it's just that this forum, and another forum I'm on, can be quite harsh on breeders who don't title their breeding dogs in protection sports. Obedience and agilty don't generally cut it. But Kim gets a pass and I've always wondered why. No personal judgement on my part, just something I've noticed. If somebody came onto this forum with a couple of black and dark sable dogs with OFA's and CGCs and the odd CD or two and said they wanted to breed, they'd be "educated" right out of here.

I don't know Kim, have never spoken with her (have seen her occasional posts on here) but if the puppies are serving their purpose, MAKING THEIR OWNERS HAPPY, are healthy, good representations of the breed, why make a fuss about it? She obviously IS doing something with her dogs if she's getting them CGCs, CDs, etc... and considering she rarely has puppies left over (from what I've gathered from visiting her website) I'd say she's doing something RIGHT. While YES, it would be NICE if her dogs had some SchH titles, I really don't think it's mine, yours, or anyone else's business WHO she sells her puppies to, if the owners are happy with them, send people her way because they adore their pups so much, and the puppies are healthy and come from healthy stock, what's the reason to question what she does? I'm not trying to be rude, Emoore, not in the slightest, I guess I just don't see why when she has so many positive reviews, her puppies sell like hot cakes and are pleasing her clients why splitting hairs over SchH titles is really called for.

"I don't know Kim, have never spoken with her (have seen her occasional posts on here) but if the puppies are serving their purpose, MAKING THEIR OWNERS HAPPY, are healthy, good representations of the breed, why make a fuss about it?" Because that's what this forum does. :) I have no dog in this fight; I'm not in the market for a puppy. I like the looks of her dogs and several people that I respect, respect her. My comment is more about the forum than it is about Kim, her dogs or her breeding program. It's just noticeable that some people get roasted and some people get praised for doing the same things.

Hahahaha, I won't argue there, not one little bit, Emoore! Thank goodness this board hasn't stopped a few breeders with it's harshness, who knows, Kim or anyone else may produce the next "big one"! Truth be told, I think many times we jump on newbies so harshly that instead of encouraging them to breed RIGHT, we encourage them to breed QUIETLY; To not tell anyone what they're doing or to ask for advice for fear of repremandation, of being judged of being verbally beaten (you and I have both seen that enough times, I'm sure). Granted, I don't think everyone should just tell anyone that breeding untitled, unhealth cleared Suzie to untitled, unhealth cleared Bobby down the street is a good idea, but perhaps if in the "growing years" of this website, had we not so quickly and viciously condemened, many newbies wouldn't be so scared to ASK questions to improve. It's rather sad, really.
