Every one with humane heart need to read/respond, considering that the people here(bayelsa state, nigeria),which happen to be my native state, are usaully sucked dry by the very people they entrust with their goverment, resources and destiny. Comparatively, this is a state with less than 1.6 million persons, one of the poorest in terms of "per capital index", poorest in development of critical infrastructures, ie no govt.-provided pipe born water, zero economic shock absorver, no companies for employment or any foreign-direct investments but amazingly one of the "richest state" in nigeria due to abundant petroleum and gas deposits.
