It's the first time the dog was presented for a breed survey.

Is it considered kkl1 if the dog passed? Is it good for 2 years?

As already said "Erstankoerung" is the first time the dog is introduced to the breed survey judge. KKL 1 or KKL 2 is the grade of the breed survey - depending on your dogs results (show, courage test, breed standard) your dog will get classified, if passed the breed survey, either in Koerklasse 1 or Koerklasse 2. Dog with minor variations from the breed standards get Koerklasse 2. The judge will give a detailed report about why he decided to give either KKL 1 or KKL 2. Remember that your dog needs a working title (at least IPO 1), AD and a show rating (minimum G "GUT") as well as OFA rating for hips and elbows or an "a" stamp, to be able to attend a Koerung. The owner will be able to introduce the dog for "Wiederankoerung" at least a year later, to show the dog has improved (structure, Schutzdienst etc) and to be able to improve the rating (KKL 2 to KKL1).

Can a dog be V rated in a show and not have a KkL1?

KKL 1 is the highest qualifications for dogs that are examples of excellence in breed standard. Dogs rated KKL 2 have minor variations from the breed standard in body structure/teeth etc, but are still mentally sound and fit as to the requirements of the breed standards. (SV Koerordnung). A show V rated dog should be an example of excellence in breed standard (body structure/teeth).
