remione1,

Just curious..... what made you buy your dog without researching him?

Just saw an ad with pictures in online local newspaper. I think the whole ad was something like "GSD Pups, 2 males 1 female left. Price, Phone #". With pictutre of each one. (My previous GSD has passed away 2 months earlier..it was time for another one).

You said that he can be a high level dog & you see traits that his Grandfather Vegas passed down to him.

Shadow is my 4th GSD, I've never even heard of ScH before we bought Shadow. My other 3 previous where American Shepards. Shadow has had excellent focus from day 1 (I didn't even know what focus was until later, but he had it). My Wife and I were just amazed at how fast he learned things. Started looking into his pedigree and decided to look into the Sch stuff. I just think he'd love it and it appears to me it comes naturally (genetically?) to him. I'll be the first to say I am no expert. I don't know what else to say except after looking into the ScH stuff, i think he has the genes for it.

I assume that if you see all this in him you have alot of experience with dogs, gsd showlines, & or Vegas yet you bought a dog without research.......

I have a lot of experience with dogs in general (nothing serious, just pet dogs), owned at least 1 for most of the years of my life (I currently live with 4 dogs and a wife). I bought the dog because we liked his looks when we went to see the him at the breeders, nothing more nothing less.

Regardless of what is to be, we love him :)
