I have many people asking for pups and some want a laid back companion.

Yes, a GSD can be a laid back companion, maybe after you put him in his place, and only after many, many, many, hours of one on one training!
Gsd's are naturally always trying to get one over on you!

Anyway, here are my laid back companions,

Ill never get why people looking for a laid back, naturally friendly dog would look at a german shepherd and not get a dog bred more to be a housepet!  Why someone answering an ad for schutzhund bloodline puppies would ask me why the puppy is biting them.

I was just going to say I have no picture to contribute, however I agree, I wouldn't consider a GSD my "go-to" for a house companion, that's for sure...

I love this. Two of my three are super chill. Ace the most laid back of the two. I mean as far as a laid back GSD goes. I can't upload pics frOm my phone but am loving looking at all of these ones here.

Wait!  You mean GS are not laid back house companions!?!  Oh, maybe that's why for the past 13 years anytime I move or the computer pings they are all on their feet and at the door ready to go . . . . .  Hm-m-m-m!

Can you believe it was 28C (82F) in SW Ontario today? In March!?

Here are my two GSDs relaxing with my husband in the shade.

And here's Bosco with Senta's tug (it was too hot for Senta to steal it back from him):
