| If indeed she is caring for a very ill dog, she has her hands full. Posting the x-ray may have been a way to fill time while she was waiting at the vets or for a phone call.....we all know how that can be. Prayers & positive thoughts to her & her dog. jackie harris |

| She was having an upset tummy so we shot films to see if she had eaten something. Good news is she is fine now no more tummy trouble. She is due for OFA and I agree, I doubt she will pass. SHe prelimed fair and the hip looked much better then. I am quite upset about this, she is a wonderful girl, loves to work and is just the sweetest thing our there. I had planned to breed her this year but looks like I am back to square one. |

| Judy, sorry to hear about the hips. I know how disappointing it is when you have such high hopes! I sure am glad she is OK now. I had a bitch that would blow up before each heat, she looked like she was having a bloat. Nope, she only retained so much water! It was the most bizarre thing ever. |

| I can assure you with all the problems I have had with GSD's and trying to find a female with no health problems I am ready to throw my hands up!!! Several members of our local GSD club have offered me Am showline dogs but I really want a working line girl but currently I want/need an adult not a puppy. To be honest I would love to lease a nice WL girl and breed her to the male I had planned to use for Aika. I love the dog. |

| Her colon is distented with food. I had a few gravel eaters, you should have seen those xrays. Judy, I really wouldn't count her out until you can get a better xray that you can submit to OFA. Her prelim looks normal but I do see that her right socket isn't as deep as the left. I think that was the reason for the fair rating. BTW that's a really nice xray. |

| Glad your dog is OK...I share your frustrations with health issues. All 4 of mine each have SOMETHING wrong, ranging from mild to life threatening. I no longer hope to breed, I just hope my pals live comfortable lives. All wonderful temperments, intelligent, intuitive, nice drives, protective; but crappy health-wise. All my girl's relations have good hips/elbows, Beckett poor hips & enlarged spleen, Wolf an old back injury. Lil' Bit EPI, Ansgar an intrasusseption & cornea issues. And Kali, well, poor Kali. It's just hard to keep having your heart broken, you fall in love with these incredible animals & then.....damn! I feel for you, Judy P. jackie harris |

| Judy those x-rays look pretty good. Did the same vet that took the stomach x-rays take the pre-limb x-rays? I would get a good x-ray like the one above and send them off to ofa, what have you got to lose. I like getting as close to 2 years of age as possible, then you will be getting the optimum reading... |
