Hi

I was honestly looking for best of the best show line GSD male puppy from VA lines, and I found very interesting litter which is due soon....
And when I contacted Mr. Bill for this litter - I asked him - how much for first pick and Full AKC REG and the price he said $10,000 US dollars.
I just feel is too high even if it's VA line. http://www.fleischerheim.com/GermanShepherdExpectedLitters.htm

You got 10 grand to piss away?
Are you going in person to make this pick?
Does anyone think any puppy could fetch such a price?
All I can say is a fool and his money are soon parted.

Amazing how you and gouda show up at the same time Shtal.
Very curious indeed.

Wow, hope that puppy is coming with a solid gold collar lined with diamonds. LOL

Personal preference if people are willing to pay that much for a young puppy. If you got the $ & don't care then go for it. I just feel there are so many rescue dogs & hungry children in the world that $10K could really help, it just seems like a waste to spend it on a puppy just because his / her parents were very pretty.

Admin edit: using another members personal information is a TOS violation.   DO NOT BE IGNORANT!!!!!

Funny but plenty of people have paid that for his pups ....and plenty of people pay 150,000.00 to 300,000.00 for showline dogs in Europe with top (or they say so) lines that are hot dogs..

I prefer a weiner...not a hot dog!!

We have breeders right here on this board with V and Va lines ...my goodness sakes and they do not pimp out all over the usa dogs they do not even look at..

Where is Sunshine??

YR

You have a breeder right there near you that has a reputation and she was on the World USA team two times..Do you not think she could sell you a pup...??? you need to do some homework..

My computer just blew up  admin edit: posting personal information is against the TOS>..

I cannot believe this..I will find you a pup...just pay me $5,000.00 and I will save you some money

I got Tammy Jo a pup 5 yrs ago and I worked my UHUH off ...she did pay me and we learned more than I could have learned in college about Showline people and brokers and lies and big prices..

I know where to find you a pup..

PAY ME

Thanks for help, also - I never said I will pay 10K for the puppy.

I expected from Mr Bill $2500 - $3000 MAX$$$$ FOR VA1 Litter GSD and I prefer to see puppy with my own eyes. "NO internet/blind purchase".

Wow. How can they possibly say a puppy is worth 10K? If it was an adult dog with a VA rating, is amazing at SchH, and rocks all around, I might consider it. But a puppy!? Must crap gold and shed dollar bills, for that price.

I agree with everyone else... you can find plenty of good pups out there for a hell of a lot cheaper than that.

I've always thought their prices were insane. I like the above comment about crapping gold and shedding dollar bills...

We are not interested in cute

YOu want quality and hard shelled lines that are smart, healthy and good conformation...heck with cute.

And that are tested for confidence, alertness, bite power, and strong pigment, and that have a ball or tug in mouth at 5 weeks old.

with 10 thousand dollars in Haiti, South Sudam and other countries, one could recieve life time prayers and thanks. Those selling pups for such amount need "occupy wall street" protesters to visit their kennel. Well, may be the pup has some stuffed cocain in it's body.

Well, I don't believe anyone would be for forced at gunpoint to purchase a pup for 10K, so, if a fool and his/her money is parted, so be it. It's so easy to educate ones self these days about dogs, so if someone asks for an insane amount for a pup, and someone else wants to pay it? So be it. To some, 10K is like 2K to an average 'Joe'. Would I pay it? No, but does that mean I should decide who can charge what? No . Don't like the asking price, either make an offer or look elsewhere. Simple really.
