Dear friends I am worry about my boy's hocks. They are a little weaks.  I don't know what the reason is.
He is 3 and half month, and he has big bones and  big head.  I think he is too  big according his young age (he's almost 50 cm) but I don't know if that has any influence.  He eats Royal canin, baby dog. He used to be stood at the kennel the first time I saw him, could that influence on his problem? Can I make some thing to help him?
I'm sharing some videos of him, with you, I was behind him to film him today. Sorry for my english I am argentine. Thanks in advance.
(I forgot to say he is from working lines)

Hello,

I would not worry about his hocks  , it is normal that they are weak at that age! He will grow out of that!

Hi Bagatelle, thanks for your quick reply, I'm more relaxed then. Just wait for him to grow. Happy new year!

Stop feeding him Royal Canin baby dog, there´s a lot too much protein in it.
Look for a Junior Premium food with less protein! You can give adult premium food as well.
It´s important to choose food with a correct Ca/Phoshor quotient, but not too much protein.
If you want to you can give Calcium fluoratum D6 1 pill three times a day, don´t give Calcium additional.

I can't describe his hocks weak, on the contrary they look good and normal at his age. I see nothing to worry about. In regards to size he looks big but not much of over weight. As Til suggested switch to Junior diet. Good luck.

Hello Til and Ibrahim, It the first time I write in this forum and I'm suprised what fantastic it is.
I went quickly to the drugstore near home but I couldn't get calcium  fluoratum, however  I'm thinking of going to a pharmacy that may prepare that drug. Yhak you for your advise. Respect to his weight, maybe it's because he eat just a little and doesn't  like balanced diet, I have to add fresh food, it is not easy feed Fidu!
I'm going to change his diet for juniors.

Welcome mentayflor!  Your puppy looks nice, I see no problem with the hocks.  I would feed adult food.  He looks to be a good weight.  Keep him thin.

his hocks are perfectly normal for his age, I actually think they're on the firm/strong side for his age.
He does look big for his age too, I agree with the other posters about changing his food so he doesn't grow too fast and cause future joint problems.

Thank you for you opinion, Euroshepher! I m going to change his food since the bag of food is almost finished. Unfortunately Fidu has a very delicate digestive sistem, and has a bad habit to take every thing he finds to his mouth to eat and drink them. I'm no longer worried because your opinions, but anyway it is not easy to bring up a german shepherd dog, I think.
