Thanks jeysalim. :)

Abby Normal, I don't mind advice. I do agree that he should be 100% on the leg before the next one gets done, I'm just not sure how long that is. My April statement was more of a guess then anything serious. I don't think he needs a year, but I will wait and see. I am currently searching for another job... one that hopefully pays more, lol.

Here are some pictures of my little guy. He's now 10.5 months old. :)

Lying on his bed this time

And his big little sister who he loves very much; unfortunately the feeling is not mutual, lol.

Gorgeous pics, he sure is turning into one handsome dude, but I especially love the goofy one LOL.

That leg is healing just beautifully, and you can see from comparing the two pics that he has a lot of muscling up to catch up on. I don't think anyone can say how long it will take, you just have to see how it goes. We took a year for a variety of reasons, not just for the full healing process to take effect, but also to build up the muscles and overall fitness, and a few other things that got in the way. I guess I wouldn't have gone for the other leg in less than 6 months, but all dogs are different. We also did lots of swimming which if you can do it will help massively with muscle tone.

Good luck with your job. These darn dogs can be pretty expensive.......
