| Yes, and that is MY opinion. You've made yours perfectly clear. |

| I think Jenni is right. Chrissy is working this out with Hans. I hope we hear something very soon, and that it's nothing less than a full settlement. |

| I disagree, he has done nothing for 6 months until publicly called out. But, I can wait to see what happens. That should only be a few hours, these things really do not take all that long to work out. I am hoping he does the right thing. Jim |

| She did Blitzen, she went through an American partner for Jinopo ;) |

| That is the picture of Mr Roarke and Tattoo. I'll bet when the over bite was reported to him he offered her a large discount on her next buy. That is the way this guy works. I agree with you Jim he had months to give her back the money hell he sells thousand of dogs all around the world this is a drop in the bucket for him. He come on here waving a American flag saying how he loves it here and the people then he cheats one. If someone sets up a pay-pal she will get the money but not from those two jokers |

| Buying American is not the right answer, nor the issue. This can and has happened with American breeders. My current working dog is from a fantastic breeder in the US, I would certainly go back to that breeder and recommend that breeder. I may also check Germany, Belgium, and Czech for my next dog. It really depends on what I find and what I want. Jim |
by Blitzen on 01 January 2012 - 19:59 |
| Sure I know that, Jim, but it's a little easier to get your hands around the throat of a person living in the US that one in Europe. I like the idea of seeing a dog before I buy it too and I have made myself a promise to never cross the Atlantic in an airplane. |

| I meant a dog bred in the US, not one sold here via a broker, workingdogz. |
by Jenni78 on 01 January 2012 - 20:00 |
| Would you cross it in a canoe? |
by Blitzen on 01 January 2012 - 20:02 |
| Hell no!!! MAYBE a cruise ship. |
by workingdogz on 01 January 2012 - 20:05 |
| Blitzen, I know what you meant, was making a reference to the always referenced 'American Partner' that is now apparently just a poor country bumpkin who couldn't possibly know. ;) I'd leary of accepting a check from the Czechs.. Chrissy, accept US Postal Money Order or Western Union You the money only. It would be hard if not impossible to collect on a bad Czech check ;) |

| Oh, gotcha. I'm a little fuzzy today...NY's Eve, Mojitos, all that. I never learn.........I'm going to take a nap now. |

| I haven't read the other dozen pages, but I don't think I would tolerate this kind of luck ONE TIME before I left this breed for good. I don't know how anyone else could deal with it emotionally and financially, and simply hope for a better "next time". I'm one lucky SOB I think, except when picking women! ha ha. |

| but it's a little easier to get your hands around the throat of a person living in the US that one in Europe Well, one is here now and the other one is supposed to be here in February. So two birds with one stone.....so to speak. |

| Jenni, you and I know that the responsibility of debt within a marriage, is never just half, bad analogy. I really don't buy the "waiting for Jiri" bit, either, for Hans to feel empowered to do the right thing by Chrissy. That's too bad because it makes you sound real lame, Hans! My disappointment grows! Hans can make this right the moment the banks open, and he could feel good knowing it was the right thing, correcting his partner's negligence, and that his reputation for honesty would grow three times over even as he is out pocket cash. Whether he can get Jiri to see it that way, or if he cares how his partner shipped such a poorly expressed genetic example of their lifelong breeding philosophy, remains to be seen. |

| Seems like this can all go away if the breeder and his " full100% partner " just refund her the entire price paid, including the shipping, send a formal apology and kick in some of the vet bills. Pretty easy fix for the mess they created! I think it's the right thing to do everything considered. It will be interesting to see how these guys handle this! |
by Jenni78 on 01 January 2012 - 22:36 |
| Bee, it wasn't that kind of analogy. I don't see what "half" has to do with anything. My point was the word "partner" doesn't necessarily mean "this person runs every single thing he does by me and has my full approval ahead of time." This is why I'm not married and don't do partners. I don't cooperate, and I do things my way. I'm just charming to live with and oh so flexible! ROFL Seriously though, Chrissy has asked that we back off and I think it's in her best interest that everyone take a step back until she says it's fine to have "open season" on the forum. If I were trying to work something out with a breeder, I wouldn't be very happy. |

| I would normally agree with you Jenni, but what more is really left? She's already been taken advantage of and what will clamming up about it do for her now? ABSOLUTELY nothing because she is already at NOTHING. |
