I need help with an avitar and posting pics...please

I can't do this, I don't know why. I want to make an avitar and want to post pics of my baby. Thanks for your help, Peggy

Hi Peggy,

If you look to the left of this message, there is a tab marked "Edit Profile", click that and on the next page that shows there will be a tab that says "User Logo". Click where it says "Change or submit new logo". Where it says "Browse", use that to browse to the location on your computer where the photo is that you want to use as your avatar. The site settings will adjust the size for you automatically.

To post pictures, when you select to post, look for the tab to the left of the red circular icon, hover over that and it will say "Image" click that and then browse to selected photo as before.

Hello Peggy,

Here is a link to the tutorial page. Here you will find many step by step tutorials with images, including, how to upload images into messages or classifieds.

Although there is no tutorial for submitting user logos, Dave done a great job explaining above! (Thanks Dave!)

I would also check the tread on re-sizing images-it could very well be the problem.

There is a tutorial on changing/adding an avatar.   How/where to update user profile options, avatar and email address.

Thank you Dave,  I got the avitar great but I don't know where to go to post the pics. Is it at a different place?  This can't be too hard, everyone else has done it, lol. Again thanks

You're welcome. Scroll down under this message and click the icon to the left of the red circular icon , it's a greenish square. click the "Upload" tab then it's self-explanatory.


Just to add, it took me a while to figure it out as well, and I work in IT <<inset embarrassed smiley>> :)

Dave, again thank you, I got my avitar but not the ones to show my boy off. So I guess I won't, but this is a closeup of his face just yesterday. He's a sweetie. I wish my husband and I were younger to do more with him is all.

Thank you so much Dave. This is what I wanted. I am proud of him. He's very bright and eager to learn. I say he's like my 3 yr old grandson, Lane, everything is funny and needs to be played with.
