Hi there!
I am leaning towards one being a LC and one being regular, (the one with the white on chest, regular) Any opinions?
Last picture is dad"Theo" on left, and pup from last litter"Oeht" on right,

They just turned 5 weeks today!

  Thanks!

Look plush or long stock to me, I LOVE that male I'm assuming is dad, he's very stunning looking!

Still in love with that one with the white.... But yeah, from what little I know (thanks to Jen) I'd guess the one is a LC.... friggin adorable though either way!

Thanks CMills & Dawulf!

The pic on bottom is of the sire to the litter at left and the pups full brother on the right!
The full brother to the pups "Oeht" looks just like his grand-sire, a long stock coat!

I weighed the pups today, and the one with the white spot is 7 1/2 pounds, the other 7 pounds!

And YES>I also think that they are...friggin adorable!!!

Look at the fur on the back of the front legs...if it lays down and has a part down the middle, it's a coat; if it's just fuzz, it isn't.

If you can.t tell a long coat puppy from a normal coat puppy at 5 weeks old ! you shouldn,t be breeding !

Neither look truly coated to me, maybe the one has a slightly heavier coat. Very cute and adorable pups.

djc - your pup is gorgeous, just gorgeous.......and gorgeous again LOL

The one puppy has a "coat look" in his/her face.
Since LSCs can have "variations" in coat lengths and textures, when they are young...many times the only thing that can "distinguish" them from their beautiful stock coated siblings....is the "special" look they have in their face.
We've had judges "debate" on whether a young puppy is coated or not.....so they "too" get fooled that they are not, when they are young.....only to find out "yes" they are ! LOL!
Since I'm guessing....as anyone else is.....I would still guess that the one is.

I would say no LC. My LC as a pup looked like djc's but with a little more whisps (sp?) of hair from in and around ears and under the neck. I could be wrong but I thought it was definately noticable right away? Longer hair around face, ears, looked like they had a mane and just overall longer body hair? (When I looked at my Reiker it was like the pom pom on the end of a roller skate.)

Thank you I thought I was missing something  I say plush, maybe, I don't think long coat on either.  Now how are we going to know how this puppy turns out?  Nan

Thanxs everyone, and those pics djc, adorable!!!

I will post more pics in another week, I am leaning towards one coated and one not.

Here is a pic from yesterday, the one I think is coated is using the other pup for a cushion!
