I want to do the eye cert test but not sure where I go to get this done?

I would contact OFA and ask them where to closest CERF clinic is to you.
Here is OFA's contact info...

Orthopedic Foundation for Animals
2300 E Nifong Boulevard
Columbia, Missouri, 65201-3806

Phone: (573) 442-0418, Fax: (573) 875-5073

Email: ofa@offa.org

Here is the link to CERF clinics, not sure if there is one that is close to you.

Hope this helps!

Sometimes an AKC all breed dog show will offer them at a reduced price but you might also find a DVM specialist for opthemology in your area or call your local kennel club they will surely point you in the right direction.Best of luck!

Also you can contact your most local AKC  Kennel Club;  sometimes they have eye clinics at the dog shows, even specialty shows and it is quite a bit cheaper at the shows.  Our Calif. eye clinics usually are about $25.00 to cerf each dog;  if you go to the local opthalmoligist it is at least $65.00 each dog; so quite a savings.  You can even go to the local kennel club show if you are NOT entered just for the cerf. and go as a spectator.  Good luck  Nan

Kudo's to you for checking and cerf'ing the eyes.  Yeah...  Hurrah, hurrah.

Just so you know ahead of time, eye certs are only valid for one year.

Yes that is correct; eyes should be cerf'ed yearly until 8 years old, then if they are clear still at 8 years old they will give you a lifetime cerf.  Before they started this 8+ year old program I was still cerf'ng some at 11, 12, & even 13 years old and that was strictly for the offspring to have clear parents until old age.

Good to know. Thank you everyone.

I will look into some local akc clubs/shows and see what I can find. There is an opthalmoligist  near by if I have to go there.
