| This is just a terrible, and sad story. My thoughts go out to the family. It has been proven time and again, that people who are cruel to animals, are equally as violent towards other people. It may be easier to profile someone like this if they have a history of violent behaviour and prior convictions. |

| Also, the pool of suspects can be narrowed, since this is someone who obviously knows dogs very well. You just don't steal a full-grown GSD from someone's front-yard, without intimately knowing dogs. And the way the dog was treated, I bet it is someone with an ax to grind against the owner. The trick is to somehow nail this vermin. |
