| There are two dogs that allow me to live with. One male "Sarge" he's almost 4 months old and "Fara" she's 10 years old. They let me live with them so I can clean up their yard and house, go to the store and buy them the best food, and hold the leash for them when they take a walk. They also let me drive them to their schutzhund club and the park weekly and supervise their visits to the doctor. |

| I also work for several dogs. 1 neutered male terrier mix and 1 spayed female working line GSD - live outside in yard surrounding house/barn and come in sometimes. Plus 1 intact male imported GSD working line - lives in 60x60 outside yard during day, inside when owner is home. All require me to give them frequent dog biscuits. The outside dogs are requesting that I add one more dog to the group for them to play with and the intact male is requesting a wife as soon as he gets his IPO III title or sooner if possible. I have been ordered to install a doggie door so they can help themselves to the house and comfy furniture (including my couch and bed) when I'm not using it, but so far have refused. |

4 dogs, 3 male and 1 female. All live indoors. 2 males are gsd ages 1 and 9. 1 male is boston terrier is 7 years old. The female is 8 year old german shepherd. The female is a bitchy type of bitch is why only one female. The males are happy with the younger taking cue from the older male, non dominant issues. The boston loves everyone and everything in life. A well fit group, no issues because all of them also accept me as the head of the grouping. They are not left loose together when I go off just because I still believe accidents can and will happen so I respect what can happen and practice preventative measures. |

I have 2.5 dogs. I have a 9 year old male German Shepherd who lives in the house. A 15 week old female German Shepherd who lives "outside"... 10x18 kennel that I would happily live in if given the opportunity. And last, the 5 year old female Chihuahua that rules the roost. |

| Used to be 3, 1 female and 2 males. Now I am down to 1 neutered male 9, and 1 spayed female 7. I altered them when my female didn't pass her OFAs and my male when it was found that he had overproduction of testosterone, (the name of the disorder escapes me, but it did not involve cancer or tumors). |

| At the moment, 1 lonely female GSD. Investigating buying a second (not sure which sex). She lives inside but has an outdoor kennel for when my husband is seeing clients (he works from home). She loathes the kennel. |

| Don't understand the two posts about single dogs being lonely. They should get more one on one. |
by Ruger1 on 30 August 2011 - 00:41 |
Chaz, I was just kidding around about Prince, he gets plenty of TLC ..;)...The truth is I am in a puppy mood and need an excuse...: ) |

| I know you both were. I know you two didn't say or hint at this, but i hate hearing people say they want another dog for their dog. If someone doesn't have time for one, how will two be? If that's what one wants, go buy a couple couple iguanas. |
