I was wondering if someone could please clear something up for me? I had no idea tom had 20 percent ddr blood in him till now? My dog is only like 40 percent east german but her tempermant just seems much more east german than typical WG as people describeo n this forum ddr/czech traits seem to be exactly who she is when someone defines a zcech dog it jjust sounds so much like mine which makes me wonder.

Anyone have any idea if other leefdaalhof dogs carry ddr or czech blood in their backrounds like ufo or vaya etc..

Especially when it is spiked!

 (I just saw the ad for him as a stud dog pop up on the top of the page today. I thought the Tom fan club should know.)

Ufo isn't a van't Leefdaalhof dog.
Vaya's mother is Ruth, same as Tom's. No DDR blood on Ruth's side.

If anyone is interested, Dax van't Brabantsbloed has had 2 breedings this week with a sable bitch linebred on Marc von Herkulesblick. It is a repeat breeding, and her last, as she will be retired after this litter. (Her name is Umbra vom Vogteier-Land) There were 11 healthy puppies in her last litter (no long coats), and all dark sables. Four out of the last litter belong to club members. I'll try to get photos of them in a couple of days.

I have a Dax son, and I absolutely love his temperament. He is almost 6 months old, and has all the horsepower I was hoping for. I have (I hope) uploaded a photo of him.  He's still a little goofy looking! He's much darker than the photo shows - his back is almost solid black.

My 11-year old SL, V-Orlando vom Baronenwald, SchH3, is behind him, chewing on a rawhide chewie. The old man is showing him the ropes, and nobody could do it better!
