Our 10 week old WL pup by Ramage on 16 August 2011 - 23:26 |
I've been meaning to share, but kept getting busy. Dieter is 10 weeks old now, so I figured it was time to post about him. He's a pretty high drive little piranha. No body part is safe from his sharp little teeth. He's "supposed" to be my husband's new prospect. We'll see about that LOL. He might just turn into my new prospect instead. |

| He's Adorable!!! Gotta love the expression at that age, you can almost see them thinking "hmm what can I bite or get into without getting caught!" Then when they do get caught it's "Look how cute I am surely you aren't mad". Have fun and enjoy!!! |

| What a beautiful coat and nice pedigree. He is going to be gorgeous and probably a great civil dog. (Which I like). What are your plans for him? |

| You've got a livewire there. Looks alone kills. (lol) Good luck with your plans for little terror. |

| Thanks again! We've been having lots of fun. He's so food motivated, it's been easy to get him doing basic commands. Of course I have to be careful not to lose a finger LOL. H4J - sadly, we're in a bad spot for Schutzhund. The closest club is 3 hours away. We do have a great local protection group, though. We'll work with him as best as we can that way. Who knows, maybe we'll try APPDA or SDA? I've never been to one of those trials, but am curious about them. After we get him as far along as we can, I hope to have found a trustworthy trainer by then and can send him off to at least get his SchH 1. Only time will tell. I'd kiss the ground if a good Schutzhund group was able to form out here in my area, but we've been unable to find a qualified helper/training director. It's a shame, too, because we have a large group of enthusiasts here. It just seems like every time we get a potential club trying to form here, something goes wrong. |

| Where are you? I don't want to help about a sch club, you understand- I want to steal that r puppy!!!:-) |

| If youhave enough enthusiasts locally for schutzhund could you not all join together and form your own club? Of courses there would be initial outlay forthe equipment but it could be divided between everyone, no? |
