Give him marrow bones to chew. Minimum crate time. Lots of confidence building, let the dog know, he's all that.

mpaco,
Ears are a frequent topic of discussion, so you may find that you don't receive as many responses as you would like.
Pedigree Database has a search function at the top of each page "Search Messageboard", that will allow you to read through old discussions of the topic, and see past advice.

Have the pups ears taped ASAP! Add unflavored gelatin to his food – 1 packet twice a day and hope for the best. Contact the breeder - they may do taping for you or go to the vet.
8 months is a bit late - but you never know. I’ve heard that it may take up to 12 months for them to go up.

I had one puppy who was 8-9 months before one of the ears went up (the other was already up), i had been using gelatin since he was small, but osteocart tablets (glucosamine and chondroitin) seemed to do the trick, unless it was just going to go up at that time anyway.  i have also heard it an take up to 12 months, but it does depend if the bases are standing up and just the tips flopping over that is good, if  they are flopped at the bases I think there is less hope at this stage...
