| Jenni must be doing something right because everyone that gets a pup from her raves about how great it is, quite a compliment I'd say. |

| RS & Isachev, very kind of both of you, but I give 99% of the credit to Miss Capri vom Hagenberg. All I do is play matchmaker;-) RS, I'm sending you an email. |

| I also have a dog from Jenni. I couldn't be happier! It takes a lot of dog to meet my criteria....which Mayhem exceeds!! Jenni is extremely down to earth and always puts the dogs first. Good breeders are getting harder to find. Debbie Wade |

| I thought this was a GSD forum???? LOL! I guess they were able to breed better, healthier dogs sort of like they were able to build better cars or computers or power plants or weapon systems; huh? -Keith What an American thing to say.............. someone must use a microwave and watch CNN and Go to a Baptist Church. Keep to your Mass media Keith, theres a bright be world out their for you. |

| Yeah, you tell him, Boyer. What would Keith know about Germany? |
by Keith Grossman on 24 July 2011 - 21:58 |
| Keith lived in West Germany for several years while the wall was still up so I'm guessing quite a bit more than you, Jenni. It's been several years and I'm a bit rusty but I also speak and read German fairly fluently as well. To suggest that the dogs were better or healthier because the breeding program was controlled by the communist government (which I'm faily certain it was not) is ludicrous. It has nothing to do with my being an American; it has to do with the realities of life and limited resources in the eastern bloc countries. |

This is a good thread...But stop picking on Keith... Jenni, are your dogs V rated ???...I could go hunting for the info, but would you post a link of the pedigrees or a website for me...Thanks...: ) |
by Red Sable on 24 July 2011 - 22:36 |
| I'm pretty sure Jenni was being sarcastic Keith. Jenni has beautifully structured dogs. Pretty sure Capri is V rated, and the rest would be if I was the judge. |

I thought she might be, RS, but never miss an opportunity to razz her and Mr. Boyer certainly was not. |

| Keith, when did you start speaking of yourself in the 3rd person? I'm here for you, buddy. It's not that bad. ;-) Of course I was being sarcastic. I'm not so old that my memory has failed, so I remember vividly that you spent quite a bit of time in Germany, whereas you seem to have forgotten important things about me...like my smartass personality and my perfectionism (of COURSE Miss Capri is V rated!)...but I forgive you. Deanna, I don't have show ratings on ALL my dogs, but then I don't breed all my dogs. My females I've had for breeding have been V rated, KKL1, and the males I've bred to have been, also. I just repeated the last V, KKL1 to V, KKL1 breeding I did for the B litter and am anxiously awaiting my "C" litter- it'll be oh-so-cute. Both parents have "C" names, too! LOL (gag). Here is my site; don't make fun of me please; it's a work in progress, and I haven't had time to make much progress lately! LOL http://vomeisenherz.com RS, thanks. I don't think Caleb would go V, but I could be wrong. He's oversized enough that I think they'd have to penalize him a little for it. I think he's certainly an SG dog though. Several of Capri's pups have rated well in the showring, also, though to my knowledge, none have been surveyed yet (they just turned 2 in June though). |

| SueZ: I am in the PNW. I train in Olympia, Washington and I am very familiar with breeders in the area and what they produce. I include BC when referring to the PNW. Feel free to visit the clubs in the area for referrals and to see what some of the local kennels produce. |
by Jenni78 on 25 July 2011 - 19:08 |
| I'll do my best, Deanna. LOL Mystere is right; there is nothing like hearing first hand from someone local who has actually SEEN dogs from a proposed breeder. |
