| Glad somebody else brought up the insurance question, that was my first thought. Especially when your kennel burns down and then you move to a different state. The other question would have to be why is it you don't know where ANY of the dogs you bred are??? |

| I heard that kennel breeding AmLines burned down couple of years back. Owners’ house burned down, too. They lost dogs but not from fire but from carbon monoxide poisoning. They pulled all their dogs from kennels alive and tried to rescue them. Unfortunately they didn’t make it. They risked their lives to save dogs, letting them burn alive was not an option for them. I can’t even imagine how I would feel if that would happen to me but I don’t believe I wouldn’t try to rescue my dogs. My home has a sophisticated fire and carbon monoxide alarm, just in case. If I had kennels – commercial sprinkle systems would be a must have for me. BTW dogs are the best alarm you can get. They'll let you know if there is a problem. If my dogs go histerical I always investigate - even in a middle of the night. |

| devils' advocate - what are the chances, do you think, of the same exact person, having their kennel burned down with dogs inside - losing house/kennel/dogs etc and calling it arson - TWICE in two different states? I would have to guess, that chance is very very slim to none. The first one may have been an accident - they get the insurance payoff - now they need money, and know how to get it. They weren't around (conveniently?) to save their dogs this time around, or to hear them barking (or screaming). |

| What are the chances...big chance it can happen twice or even three or four times. This story is very suspicious. I'm a former property and casualty claims manager. As stated in a previous message, who dropped the match? |

| P.S. From looking at the photos accompanying the news story, there were five GSDs in a small, shacky building in crates? Vermont or not, wouldn't that little building have been a very hot, stuffy place to leave 5 dogs for an entire day? |

| Not really Bannie when you are planning on lighting it on fire later, the crates are pretty cool. |
