Canidae All Life Stages, any opinions by jmopaso on 19 June 2011 - 20:42 |
I recently switched some dogs over to Canidae and have been pleased so far. Any opinions, experiences, etc ?

That's what I'm feeding right now, & for the past 18 months or so, switched from Orijen due to availability issues; dogs are doing pretty well on it. Their coats aren't quite as nice as they were on the Orijen; but still soft & shiney, & no health issues. Good price too, about $40.00 for the 44lb bag. jackie harris

Fed it and liked the result, unfortunately too expensive to keep six dogs on.

i have used several different canidae products. they seem to work okay for dogs who don't have issues. if a dog is proned for yeast overgrowth or can't tolerate grain (even on grainfree formulas) the canidae is not a good choice. my hubby's rat terriers do fine on it, but the german shepherds get spoiled here and i spend a horrible amount of money on their food. :) pjp

Interesting...I switched to Canidae ALS formula several years ago to resolve yeast overgrowth problems and it did the trick! I've been feeding it ever since with great results.
