Then and only then every post you posted afterwards you changed or added something to the scenario. Your original post should've stated all the facts first that way you wouldn't have put yourself in a corner, JMO. Any dog, any breed, trained or untrained is going to react differently to a ? lunging at them. In my eyes when an individual does something like this or talks about doing something like this then we are playing the "what if" game. And any of us could do that till we're blue in the face. But it doesn't prove a thing. Your initial comment intentional or unintentional set the tempo. By what I see and have read is if you have been absent for unknown amount of time then why in the world would you come on with that type of question or scenario? Your question? What happened to the REAL GSDs? By lunging at someone's dog, (even a friend's) and their reaction defines a REAL GSD? Sometimes you have to wonder why even bother responding/commenting to some of these threads but sometimes I would really like to know what was the OP's objective? What were they really trying to accomplish? So, what I have seen is that you lunged at a friend's dog, apparently didn't get the result you were looking for then came on the PDB that you and a guy that raises/sells police K9s thinks is a joke to ask what happened to the real GSDs and then turn all that into a few arguments with GSDs owners who wouldn't/don't stand for people doing that to their dogs for whatever reason(s) that they deem unacceptable. I hope I got that right? |

And yes had to keep adding details Of the situation for jeff . Obviously the people on here are a joke everyone has still failed to answer why the dogs aren't as tough and civil as bred to be! Everyone just talks out their ass and criticizes people for asking questions. Most of the real breeders will tell you to stay away from PDB and that they never get on except to look at pedigrees not to hear dumbass remarks from punks like jeff steve and pretty muck everyone who has wasted their time posting in this thread |

The fact that you have proven that you know nothing and have to refer to some guy who supposedly sells dogs to police depts as a reference to how you are sooooooo much better at doing this than all of us. I have a dog that you can come and lunge at. After all, you feel that the breed is so weak and pathetic and the PDB is such a joke and we are all just punks. Come on down and we will video it for all the useless losers here on PDB. After all, I am just a punk. Think how much fun it will be to scare my dog by lunging at him. If you feel up to it after that, I have a few more that you could lunge at to see what they will do as well. After all, real breeders recommend staying away from us punks. |

| Smith Nothing Dumb arse about my answers, You should have put the truth of what you mean't in your opening post, but for some reason you did not now you are putting people down when they reply to your post some sort of up standing guy you are for sure. However post a Video of your Dog working as asked by me and others. Better still bring it over over here to Belgium i will find out how good its nerves are and i will not jump at the dog or even touch it in fact i will be a yard away from it, but i will certainly know how brave a dog you have and i will be standing still when i do it the dog will not be hurt in any way of course, but we will see how good its nerves are and how stable a dog it is Steve1 |

| Smith, You should show some respect to those members who took the time to respond to your post whether in favour or against, once you made the post then it is public and each has the right to share, reading one's personal experience is a valuable thing not many offer it for free nowadays, imagine what happens if every one refrains from posting his comments!! redirecting this thread and chanelling it into a beneficial discussion is your call and I bet you, you will get valuable serious response from the same posters and more, I for one I'm all ears. | Smith, You may not haave the skill needed to pick a good dog, or you may not know where to look. Or your temperment test may not be valid, I have not as of yet jumped at a dog to determine the dogs temperment. |
