Imzedrift Buffy by vithala on 13 May 2011 - 19:46 |
I just got a Buffy son, phenotype much like the father and his mother is from Dasty vd Berger Hochburg. What are some your opinions on Buffy. I have spoken with persons having opinions on him ranging from extreme dominance to very powerful and difficult to manage. The dog I have demonstrates, lots of dominance and speed. Thinking of having a go with him in the sport but would love some feedback. |

| I personally strongly believe on the demarcation between Trainer's bloodlines and Breeder's bloodline. The dog quoted has some good breeder's bloodline. So power to that. Orry ofcourse. cheers |

| Thank's Vikram! Yeah I was talking about the dog... Not the Trainer and not the Breeder. Just the dog. : Imzedrift Buffy x Dasty vd Berger Hochburg daughter. Orry Of course. Interesting comment. I am sure I agree. But the same way we see different genetic permutations from different lines/sources to Grief zum Lahntal, as examplified by Mink Wit, vs Karlo Peko Haus I was wondering more specifically about the trait of dominance and aggression coming from Buffy, and/ or the combination with Dasty. Digging a bit deeper I guess than simply the linebreeding on Orry. Unless that in itself is a strong enough factor to create this. Thanks again, Vit |

| Vit, I know a lot of Mink fans will not like this I perosnally feel that Mink produced awful dogs. I don;t know about your views. But I do not strongly beleive in mixing Fero, Yoschy, Grief lines with Mink. Mink camp is a seperate legion. These two bloods do not complement each other and their mixing does not add value to the outcome. cheers |

| I appreciate your response. But I was only using Mink and Karlo Peko haus as an example of different sources to Grief. My questions are still related to your post on Orry , and I asked if you or anyone would elaborate on their opinions of Buffy as a source to Orry and if through him there is more dominance and handler aggression than in other sources. I would not get into the Mink stuff in this post. I am sure it has been discused here and elsewhere ad infinitum. I was trying to keep it on the subject at hand, but I appologise if my examples to illustrate my point confused the post. Thanks, Vit |
