| Not in the least surprised!!! The way she spoke about her mother the last time should have said it all. Plain evil nut!! When I think of all the posts she made blaming everyone and his uncle for what she did makes me sick. She even accused myself and others of being PETA supporters for speaking here about her. Jenni, SP and the others who kept this highlighted the last time, I applaud you, to the others who continually complained about the posts.....SHAME ON YOU!!! I hope you are hanging your heads in shame and embarrassment. I can only hope no more dogs or humans are ever tortured by her again, LOCK HER UP AND THROW AWAY THE KEY!!!! |

| Wow! Jenni, Hodie caught grief after I pointed her to DDR-DSH and who she was. If you look at old threads you see what I am talking about. I never forgot her after she lamented on that "crazy" East German male Boban von den Grauen von Monstab and the dog she had years ago who was feral. When she came on here I remembered her for what she was and found the link to her first cruelty conviction. Needless to say that she called me all kinds of names for that. Doing this to her own mother is a lot more evil than what I thought she would be. There is absolutely no excuse for something like that. May she rot in hell! |

| You guys think YOU got grief? My good (albeit slightly hysterical) name was ruined on this database while certain idiots defended Janice Bartmess. What's more, I called LA County on Bartmess MONTHS ago. It's THEIR fault the elderly woman suffered. They could have gone there and looked a LONG time ago. You have no idea how mad I am. |

| I can absolutely vouch for Jackie on this one. This past fall, she enlisted my help in trying to track down Bartmess and what we were certain was her latest collection of dogs. The upshot is that we got THISCLOSE to having LA Animal Control bust her, but she'd managed to move the dogs out to another, unknown location perhaps a day before the authorities showed up to investigate the premises (and quite a limited investigation THAT obviously was). I am now almost sick to my stomach after realizing that she was abusing an elderly woman as well. So whatever folks may think of Jackie - and yes, she is a bit blunt and not much for decorum - her heart is absolutely in the right place, and those who attacked her on this forum for having the temerity to point out the evil in our midst owe her an ENORMOUS apology. |

| So what happened to the 64 dogs ten years ago, and, what will happen to the dogs recently seized? I hope they aren't returned to the crazy woman and that awful hole in Gardena. |

| I am so mad and so sick about it. This crazy bitch has gotten away with soooo much and finally they are doing something about it? I'll believe it when I see it. She should fry for it but I don't see that happening. Probably just another slap on the wrist. Grrrrr...I wish I could get my hands on her. Just a few minutes. That's all I ask. I applaud all who reported her before. |

| Silbersee, I remember. There was a post about a similar situation where I said "they walk among us" or something similar" and Hodie questioned me. So, I posted about Wackjob, then you and I don't remember who else confirmed that, and then it went totally nuts from there because Hodie apologized and said she did remember her and the incident from years back, she just hadn't remembered the screename- probably new anyway! Jackie, email me or call me. Number's on the website. Those dogs ARE NOT HERS!!! Not only that, but a few are just about the last of certain bloodlines and I'd really hate for them to end up PTS due to being deemed unadoptable. ANYONE WHO KNOWS WHAT OTHER DOGS WERE THERE AND WHO ELSE OWNS DOGS THAT JANICE CONNED INTO "LENDING" TO HER FOR HER "NON-PROFIT PROGRAM" PLEASE EMAIL ME ASAP. |

| However.... This is not about pointing fingers to anyone but Janess.... This is about how very important it is to listen to the past. Realize people do not change much, and this kind of thing is not curable. People like this are SICK, and need to be monitored 24/7. The original threads about Bartmess were very important to this website, those that were deleted may have saved some poor dogs life or health had the owners been able to research her here before handing their dog over to this monster. |

A bunch, Keith, a bunch, although I think it's fair to say that certain posters with personal issues in league with the animal abuser needlessly complicated things by trying to misdirect Oli to take action against other members. But I'm encouraged by what I'm seeing here today - perhaps some good can come out of this story after all. |

| You agreed with a convicted animal abuser that a certain poster wasn't being fair to her. So how'd YOUR friendship that enabled and emboldened the convict to continue her hoarding/abusive behavior work out for the convict's mother and dogs? With that in mind, I'd suggest that MY character and discretion is not the issue here. Not one bit. |

| i don't get it, why would anyone sell, give or lend her a dog? The most basic google search should of stopped any transaction cold. And if they knew of her history and either didn't care or thought she was reformed. Shame. Give someone a second chance when you are the only one that stands to lose something, don't have a dog pay the price for your "good deed." If that sounds harsh I'm sorry. between the dogs starved in Penn and now this I am sick. |

| In deleting all her posts from raymond's "Is this ddr-dsh?" thread, at least Maggie showed that she was embarrassed, if not exactly remorseful. Better that than to try to revise history in the face of those who were around to see it. |
