The shelter staff think I am about 8 months old.
 
I have been at the shelter since Aug 16, 2010.

What a pretty girl!  I hope someone takes her home.  It just kills me to see our breed in a shelter or worse yet the pound.  We have got to do a better job of screening who we sell our puppies to.  If in any doubt spay or neuter contracts!

If there were a way to get her to MIchigan she would be welcome here while we get her ready to be placed in a proper forever home.

All the rescues in California have a waiting list, so they cannot take this girl and save her...
That is also why, the people that owned the big sable 3 1/2 yr old male, Obi, paid $900 to ship him to me here in Montana, so he would not be PTS=PUT TO SLEEP....Which what surely would have happened if he went to a shelter...
And this one in the shelter now is only 8 months old!!!!

BTW: Obi was adopted yesterday by a wonderful couple, they came to look at a 9 month old male I have in and ended up taking the 3 1/2 yr old instead!!!! Yeh people!!!!

Steph, As Always Thank you for your good heart and the work you do.

Re this girl - do we know if she has a tattoo?

I emailed two breeders and a club secretary in the area that might know who had litters around that time and asked them to spread the word.

The club secreatary emailed me back that she's working on getting her out of there so I'm keeping my fingers crossed she's able to - but do not stop any efforts any of you are making for her because we don't know yet.

I'm told that NCal GSD rescue was pulling her this afternoon but we still have to find a place for her. I will try to update with more specific info on her tomorrow if I can.
