| Hi there, I came across this when I was researching for GSD breeders.........Is it for real? Just curious..! From what I heard....Alpine K9 is a GSD breeder for Czech dogs. I was required to send a $500 deposit immediately to reserve the puppy. The total price for the puppy was $1600 plus $375 shipping, or $1975. Four weeks later I received an email from AlpineK9 telling me the puppy was ready to be shipped and I had to send the remainder of the payment. Payment was sent and all I heard from them was a voicemail telling me they had shipped the puppy, never asked me for a convenient day or time. The puppy arrived severely emaciated, weighing only 9 pounds at 10 weeks of age. It was so thin, the veterinarian was hesitant to run a flea comb over it because you could see every vertebrae. The puppy had a bacterial eye infection with heavy green/yellow discharge and green/yellow diarrhea. The puppy tested positive for tapeworm, hookworm and giardia. Additionally, the puppy arrived with no AKC registration papers. This was the first time I had ever purchased a puppy in such bad condition and without an AKC registration form. When I contacted Mr. Blabla, all I got was insults and I was blamed for the condition of the puppy and even the fact that the litter was never registered. I was told I was stupid and know nothing about European dogs, even though my parents are European-born and I lived many years in Europe myself. After weeks went by and I never received any AKC registration for the pup, investigated further and discovered that Blabla's AKC registration privileges had been suspended in April 1999 for 10 years! This was because of inaccurate record keeping, which tuned out to be Blabla registering dogs and claiming they had pedigrees they really didn't have. When confronted with this, Blabla suddenly decided his girlfriend, Debbie Erlinger would be registering the puppy. To cover himself, he did pay his fine to the AKC and have his privileges reinstated on June 4, 2010. However, the alleged sire and dam of this puppy have never been registered with the AKC although Blabla was trying to sell this dam on the internet since at least September 2009. Blabla's AKC privileges would have to be reinstated BEFORE the whelping of this puppy in order for him to register it. I paid $1975 for a dog that has no AKC registration and no pedigree. I had purchased this pup to one day add to my breeding program. As of this date, the pup weighs only 15 pounds, is on meds and is doing better, but remains very small and looks like a cat. If it does not show any growth in the next month, the vet will test it for pituitary dwarfism, a serious genetic defect, which it most likely has. Its ears are spaced very wide apart and its head is very small. It's the size of a cat. I would warn anyone thinking of purchasing a dog from this man, don't do it unless you can go there and personally get the dog. Ask to see the AKC registration and pedigree first. Have the dog examined by your own veterinarian. Once you get ripped-off, don't expect Blabla to stand by any of the guarantees on his website. You will only get insults and t |

| can you post pictures of the pup n question, and who the suppose parents are? if it is infact a dwarf, it would be good to know what dogs produced it. but there are 2 sides to every story and Prager freqents this bard so I would like to hear what he ha to say too |

| I'm not saying its true or not because i don't know the kennel. Hate to say it but this is the kind of stuff people get when they don't do research on the breeders |

| I have seen and taken a few bites from adog that came from Hans. Pretty sure it was an import. May or may not be bred from his organization. And I can tell you that this dog was extreemly confident and unshakable in bite work. The dog took presure without stressful reactions. Extremely hard along with a hard full bite and nice size probably 85 to 90 lbs (just a guess). I would have loved to own this dog. BTW this dog had little work put on him prior to me taking the bite, a very green dog. Robert |

| I was waiting when this is going to hit PDB. Here are the facts. I have sold to Sonia Berg of OHIO healthy pup. As matter of fact I have had 2 people here one was police officer from California and the other was a high powered attorney from Atlanta who wanted the pup because he was the pick of the litter. See picture below. Sonia Berg after she got he dog said that the pup is OK. However after about 10 days she started a campaign of calls at 2 am and other odd hours. When I picked her calls she would call me F.ing lying Czech , crook, drunk, druggie, and called my girlfriend unappealing and unintelligent and many other profanities. I have told her to e mail me and not to call me any more. She claimed that the dog is sick and that she knows that she will not get papers. She insulted my vet and she called Sheriff on me 2 x because supposed condition of my kennel Sonia Berg was never here and I would ask anybody who was here to tell here what is the condition of my kennel. Both times the Sheriff was here unexpectedly they found the place as immaculate and said that if Sonia Berg files another report that they are going to file charges on her for false reporting. I also invite anybody to come and visit my kennel at any time. I am an open book and have NOTHING to hide. I have offered Sonia Berg all the money back and offered her that I would pay for the shipping. She requested the money back but refused to send the dog back!!!!!!!!!!. I believe this is the purpose of all the harrasment from this person. I have hired an attorney and send her a letter to cease and desist. She did not. I have got here well over 100 e mails with insults , accusations, profanities, misconceptions and lies here. I will send them to you upon a request. AKC registration of the pup. The pups are from imported bitch which came in whelp. This involves : 1. registering the bitch in Czech rep in our name. 2. sending the papers via registered mail to me. 3. taking pictures of the female and get them developed. 4.registering the female in our name with AKC 5. DNA the female. (Currently we are at this point of the process) 6. Registering the litter 6. Sending the papers to a customer. This process may take up to 8 mo or in rare cases more. I am informing Sonia Berg on the status of the registry every step of the way. She does not understand or accepts what I am saying. ME and AKC. I have once before stated here on PDB that I have been banned from AKC for lack of documentation. The truth is that I had records stored in a private storage about 80 miles away. When AKC announced that they will come to me for routine inspection of the records I wend to retrieve my records in this storage. I have found that the storage had been flooded in a major storm and records were destroyed. AKC refused to help me restore my records because I requested it after the announcement of inspectors visit. And I got banned from AKC for 10 years. My dogs lost registry with AKC . However new dogs were registered in my partner's name. I have never fail to deliver papers to anyone after they requested them. As a matter of fact i often help people recover their papers from Czech. I was also instrumental in AKC accepting Czech dogs for registerinng. | The picture above is the one which I have received from Sonia as a picture of THE sick pup in question. She still even now after she send me the picture claims that the pup is on a death bed. Again she wants to keep this pup and by harassment she asks to get the money back too. She stated this plainly: Send the money back but I will keep the pup. Is this extortion or what? YOU BE THE JUDGE..... I can document every word by emails which Sonia send me. I'll send you those e mails if your request them. | It is hard to get to really know people on the database, but if a person posts enough, the personality does start to show through. Also, there are others here who have met Hans in person, and speak highly of him. When I first read this post, I thought, 'This does NOT sound like something Prager would do. What's going on here??" And now we know...  Thank you, Hans, for justifying my faith in you! I, too, purchased a puppy from an imported parent which did not yet have AKC registration. It took the breeder NINE MONTHS to get the registration straightened out, and send me the papers! Soinia is just going to have to learn to be patient! |

| Here is a e mail from one of my customers who have seen and wanted to buy the pup in question: Hans I am writing regarding my recent experience with Alpine K9. I visited Alpine on May 21st of this year while in Phoenix on business. I was looking for a Shepherd puppy and had heard about Alpine's reputation for excellent pups. I rented a car and drove an hour to the kennel. I was greeted by Debbie and she was very friendly and helpful. I was looking for an all black puppy and was most interested in the Bryta v. Jago litter. There was only one black puppy in the litter and I observed him to be upbeat, lively and very engaged. Debbie informed me that the black puppy was already sold. I then focused on another dark sable puppy who was very warm and seemed to have a lot of drive. I went with the dark sable puppy and he was shipped to me approximately 1.5 weeks later. He arrived in good shape and has settled into my house nicely. My protection trainer recognized immediately that I had a great pup on my hands - he commented on the level of drive apparent in the pup even at ten weeks old. I have been very happy with my pup and experience with Alpine. As a partner in a litigation law firm here in Atlanta, I have grown to hold those I transact business with to a high standard. Alpine has thus far been great to deal with - you and Debbie have been responsive, detailed and your passion for what you do is apparent. | By the way; I have send Sonia the pup on exactly the day requested by her. Sonia never picked up her phone when we call her on several times in 3 days. Thus we were forced to leave her a message. I can answer every point of her accusation here. But I have other things to do than to spend all my time answering a pack of lies. I will make this statement here. 1. Come and visit me at any time. I'll show you my facility, my dogs, my training, my pups. I am an open book. Many people from all over the world and LEO and other customers visited here and were impressed and welcomed and so will you. 2. If you personally want me to, then I will answer any of the concerns. I'll be happy to do it via phone or e mail or personal conversation. 3. I can document that any of the convoluted statements are untrue and vicious attacks on me in order for the person Sonia to extricate a money and keep the pup. She stated that herself. 4. Pup was shipped healthy just like all the other pups. Had been immunized up to date and routinely dewormed 3 x and had vet's health certificate. Pup is not a dwarf. I have never produced a dwarf! Pup in question is one of the 13 (!) pups in the litter thus they were not giants. 5. Sheriff was here 2x upon 2 Sonia's requests and one of them stated that this is a better facility than they have seen in a long time. They also checked all the dogs and pups here. They canceled all investigations of my facility and warn Sonia not to make other false reports or they will charge her with false police reporting. She called them "good old boys" and that she was not taken seriously because she is a women even so one of the sheriff investigators was a woman. Can you imagine that Sheriff Joe Arpaio of AZ fame would give pass to anyone abusing animals?! He is world famous for not doing that and is famous for criminally charging dog abuse and neglect. Remeber Michael Vick? 6. Pups are fed here home cooked meals of meat, pasta , sea salt and raw vegetables every day. Pups are kept athletic shape and thin in order to ward possible HD. This based on studies which are listed in a book : Canine Hip Dysplasia and other Orthopedic Disorders by Fred Lanting. By the way I highly recommend the book and am selling it on my website. | Hi, This is a very sad thread indeed, I was unhappy reading throught it. Untrue accusation is a dangerous thing on all of us as it may tend to drive some to quit believing in others whom they think are true GSD lovers, transparent, knowledgable and trustworthy. Some of the members became just like family and it does hurt to read bad things about them especially whe untrue. It does matter more really when the accused is a valuable contribuoter of rich knowledge and is a breeder or trainer. I do not know Hans in person but he became dear through his contributions on this messageboard just like many others who I either take as friends or look to as respectable people such as: Steve1, Debi Sue, Bea, GSDPACK, LAVK9, Silbersee, Mobjack, Cage, Bob McKown, AandA, VomMarischal, Sonora, Jeysalem, Rania,Tarek Allam, GSDalways, Jessie James, Gustav, Slamdunc, Shezam1, Pharaoh, Sunsilver, beetree, TESSJ10, JRANSOM, crhuerta ......... that is only to name few. I wouldn't easily believe claims on any one of them easily, and if falsely accused I will be more than dirty towards the accuser. Let's not be easy on accusations without proof or false ones especially from the unknown. I do not believe Prager is a cheat. Regards Ibrahim |

| Hans, Don't know you personally, and we will never meet but what you post here at all times is someone who is very knowledgeable about the breed, dedicated and honest. I have read here of others who have met you, been to your kennels and had nothing but praise. The sable puppy you linked to here I have already looked at many times and would have that puppy in a heartbeat. The puppies shown above including the OP look extremely healthy and well taken care of. This is the first time I have ever heard anyone say anything negative about you, your dogs or care of your dogs. I find it disgusting that a man of your commitment feels he has to justify the OP vile comments, HANS I do not think you have to justify yourself to anyone here, I believe we all admire your dedication to your dogs and breeding. Enough said!! The op has given no proof of her accusations best to ignore. |
