There are a coule of crooks on here lately...one scam artist. Do you know the name of the breeder, post it on here and tell him you will remove once you get the papers....hopefully they exist, good luck

Hi Joe
If you say who the parent's are or the breeder's name  some one may have bought a puppy from the same litter and may  get in tough with you if they have there papers or not.

Joe, is the breeder in the USA?   that is important.   AKC registration is immediate, so  in that case he is leading you on.

If the pup was an import, then it takes longer.   The SV papers are not submitted until the pups are microchipped, then the breeder has to wait quite a while for the originals.   Two months is normal, sometimes its longer.

You could call the AKC if the pup was born in the usa.

Im i right in thinking this puppy is from a Uk kennel ? Is it also seriously underweight ?
Give him 7 days to produce them and threaten to report him to the KC, if it is the kennel i am suspecting it wont be the first time this has happened.
Personally i would name and shame on here!!

Report to the Kennel Club ??    That would be good if they would do anything about it Peggy, but they are toothless wonders, only intereted in getting registration money, and have become a defunkt Somerset House only.

Unfortunately, many things have been reported to the KC including people puppy farming, but they register their puppies just the same, even after proving that pups are not being loked after properly or reared without money being the main gain....so a person unjustly treated on a puppy sale would be totally out of their depth.

Joe.   I think you should contact the breeder.   Tell them that you intend within the next 14 days naming them and their kennel on the database for all to see - and that 14 days gives them enough time to register if they have not already done so.   If you dont get your paperwork then, just do it, name and shame.   Then you can decide on your course of action if you are to get no paperwork for the puppy given that you have it in writing that the paperwork is available after a period of time.

Mo.
