Nothing yet?? I have a feeling I am going to be in exactly the same position towards the end of next week. I have one who was bred between Jan 25 and Feb 1, so not quite sure when to expect the puppies either!

Hey, they ARE all getting Celtic C names. IF they ever get born. I don't know what the deal is. I can feel what feels like size 12 shoes bouncing around in there. Belly as tight as a drum. She has no suspicious symptoms at all so I don't feel very worried...just impatient. I have a little spot of pneumonia right now so that makes it worse...I sit around staring at her all day and trying to WILL the puppies out. Actually, Bella's grandmother went to the upper limit when she had puppies...66 days, I think. 70 days from the breeding, as I recall...something like that. Anyway, now you've gotten me in trouble with Stacy, who told me to shut up until I had something puppy to say!

How about taking her out for a walk, she will probably start digging a hole in a totally inappropriate place, but it might get things going??? maybe you are not feeling up to it. though... Good luck anyway and hoping for some news soon!!!

What are the planned names?
by VomMarischal on 19 March 2010 - 02:32 |
Hey, she's walking around whining! And I didn't even squeeze her yet! And her last two ribs on each side are really separated from the others...too much stretching them apart. GEEZE poor dog. It's gross if you think about it. I refused to have kids, so I make HER do it? I'm sickening. Hope she bites me.

Planned male names: Cuán, Conn, Conlaodh (pronounced Kun Lee), Cahir, Cearúl, Conall, Cain, Cormick Female: Ciar, Cathán, Cliodhna (Cliona), Cavana Still looking for a couple more. A friend of mine called this morning DELIBERATELY making me nervous. She says, "Hey my friend's Dutchie showed six pups on the ultra sound and six on the x ray. She had TWELVE!" Well, as Auntie Mame used to say, "Shit oh dear!" Can't use that many! There'll be a two-for-one sale!

Rugers, you can come look at them tomorrow if it happens. If it doesn't, I guess I'm going to the vet on Saturday afternoon to find out what we can do to help her along. Oxytocin?
by Rugers Guru on 19 March 2010 - 02:44 |
If you have 12.... I might want one!!! I would love to come see them tomorrow.... hehehehehehe I'll be the first ooooone, neener neener!

If she has 12, I'll make you take 2! Well, she is within the safe range until the weekend is over. Then it'll be bad news.

LMAO!! You're not in trouble anymore... i imagine that it's quite painful to type with no fingernails left ;-) So for being nasty to you I went on a Celtic name-hunt..... I vote for the name Caelan, Irish name for Strong Warrior (My Isolina also means Strong Warrior) Here are some other that I found: Cameron Cara Cordelia Cullen (yes I am a 36 year old Twilight fan lolol) Cedric (as in the Entertainer) Cinnia Calder (as in "I Calder but she didn't come) Conan Carey Carmel Cadell Cahal Carr Cary Coventina Connell Con Camero Cinnie Culann Corann Camey Conway Cathair (I really didn't make it up!!! I hope it's pronounced "th" and not Cat-hair!) Cairbre

I like Cat-hair! Too funny.....! My Irish relatives were Connelly's & Donnelly's, isn't that bizarre? Did you list Cora, too? I think that blowing in her nose is actually a really good idea. The poor thing, she must be miserable. jackie harris
