| Shtal...seriously...I said LOOKS LIKE a Great Dane cross. Please work on your reading comprehension. Jenni, please read Shtal's other posts, he talks consistenly about breeding "giant size" German Shepherds out of this dog he has. Do you think that's a good idea? I mean, really? This guy is what the GSD breed does NOT need. Your dog looks NOTHING like his; he looks like a true German Shepherd that is within the breed standard, and is exceptionally good looking, and you know it. This guy does not need any sympathy. He needs a clue, and a rather large one at that. |

| Like I said, I don't have any interest in reading his other posts. If and when he posts about it, then I'll rip on him for it then, in that thread. But not this one which is supposed to be a simple update. Innocent until proven guilty, and I'm not saying he's not guilty; I'm simply saying I don't think this is the thread to be nasty about the poor dog. And actually, my dog is over the standard, though exceptionally good looking I will agree;-) |

| Wow, looking at the picture from when he was 7 weeks to 12 months he certainly has grown into a big boy, he looks like a wonderful pet, We have just lost our 7 month girl to a heart defect and fluid on the lungs, she died on wed 20th jan 2010 while under anesthetic when the vets were giving her an x-ray to find out our problem!! However this has not put us off owning another gsd and look forward to our next!! |

| 20/01/10 " I simply wanted a GSD, later i had some ideas to breed dogs". Why? What ideas were they? With this male? |
by Shtal on 23 January 2010 - 17:38 |
| Dear, bazza. I will repeat this once! When I bought this male, I honestly did not know and understand that their was such a thing such as a standard size. (I found out later when I did some research about GSD's) Now for this thread I' am simply updating the pictures "that is my honesty", please leave me alone here for this thread. Thanks:) |

| Shtal I have a proposal as well. I am not ging to tell you to fix your dog and offer you one of my puppies. That would just not be my type of dealings. I also keep most of my dogs intact since I know how to keep my dogs away from my females. I breed only the once that should be bred, Anyway here it goes, Why don't you stick around I know you want to. You keep comming back and you need to brag, we all need to brag about out dogs. Please come back and do that and ask questions and talk and read and get more knowledge. Lets not talk about breeding your dog, fixing him or other things, just dogs, training, and getting to know the breed. How about that, You leaving is not going to hepl you, quiet the oposite. Hang around and get to know the dogs you have, who knows, we may learn from each other. For the rest yes, yes, I know. Pack |

| GSDPack, please don't invite more idiocy onto this forum. God knows there is enough. Let's let sleeping dogs lie and call it a job well done. |

| Alirod12 and God's children they are.... I invited him to chat with me if he chooses to do so. I am not asking anybody to do the same. Pack |

| I may stick around for just a little bit "very short time", since GSDPACK wanted to chat with me. I came across with diffrent german shepherd show line from 1940's to modern GSD, and I notice ealy era they had straight backs and look a bit bigger. How come their was a change in the German Shepherd dog history? www.asuperiorgsd.com/p2p.html |

| Also this female that I have, she is 12 months and my guess esitmate she is about ~70 pounds. But I honestly don't know for sure - is she is show line or working line, all I know she has a crazy energy. The reason I' am showing this picture I wanted to find out if she show line or working line? Edit: The breeder mention to me she was show dog, but at the same time she has a working ability. This female is very cheap price, only cost me $700 US dollars! |
by Shtal on 25 January 2010 - 08:22 |
| And I wanted to show you I have show line 2 females they are from top dogs pedigree. They are 9 months right now, do you think they are to small?? (This girls cost $2,500 US dollars = $5,000 thousand for 2 girls. I hope they will be good size) They are from TOP, TOP pedigree, because I wanted the best females I could get) |

| I also have this 7.5 year old Male do you think he is DDR? "He is about 80 pounds" The one who defeated Saint Bernard I told the story while back! Edit: I' am not sure exacly how DDR is diffrent..... Sorry he closed his eyes while I took the picture! This Male was almost free, I paid for him $350 US dollars! |
by bazza on 25 January 2010 - 12:08 |
| Now i know for sure Shtal you are just stirring it up after your last picture and pedigree links. " Is this dog DDR"? LMFAO. At $350 i'm afraid you were robbed!!!!! |

| GSDPACK, The reasoning behind offering him a puppy, came from a good place........not a "dealing place". I felt compassionate about his desire to have fun in this breed. He also stated that he had no intentions when he purchased his puppy of breeding huge GSD. He projected the persona of someone who loves his dogs and cares for them. And truthfully.....I have been pretty nice to him. You may now feel sorry for him.......as I did.......I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT feel the same today! I have received several PM's from him.....BLAMING me for the size of his dog!? Stating that it is MY fault , because of the fact that I knew who the "father" of his dog was.....AND the owner & breeder.....that ALL this trouble he receives from the forum is also MY fault, because I did nothing to stop the breeder & owner of allowing their dog to breed!!!!!!!?????? OMG! What??!! Emails about Hitler, Giant GSD, and he will do whatever he wants to do.......there is no one going to stop him...it is his right.....then remarks about the Eastern European GSD........on...on... on.... His PM's to me are not from a "nice" person........they are from another "type"! I have my PM's....... Becareful who you "invite" to chat with..... Robin |

| Dear Robin, your mistake was by telling me to neuter my dog, I felt you were trying to force me to do what I don't want to do! I feel the pain just like you!
He also stated that he had no intentions when he purchased his puppy of breeding huge GSD.
This is 100% percent correct! But since I have him big now, I will deal with him myself......And either I choose to breed him or not, it is my personal problem, because I love this boy that I have. |

| crhuerta geez I am sorry, my limited english, the way I put it on a paper seems to be yet again misleading. What I ment is that I understand what you actually tried to do. Dealing is proposal, not some dealing, Sorry for that! Well Shtal, lets go back to your dogs. Your big boy is showline dog, I believe you posted his pedigree before, What I do not like is that the breeder breeds for size. I believe that there are other good things that need to be bred for, not purelly the Look of the dog. I tink your big boy has some nice blood in him and I would encurage you to do something with him, to test his ability. I know you are new at this and it is good to have mentor, help somebody more experience as you are. God knows I do! To your girs: I think they will stay within the standard or pretty close. You purchase them from a very well known kennel and I know you will hate me for this: I think you paid too much. Your other 80 pound boy is the wierdest combo, On one hand half of his pedigree is a nice working pedigree. on the other hand the other half (white dog) not much of anything in my eyes. I could say that the breeder tried to bring some working ability to the bloodlines but it could be some bad, bad risk and why mixing them !?. I would never mix those two dogs together because well not complimentary, the opposite. We all know you love those dogs, you should continue to do the research you started and see why those dogs should, or shouldn't be bred together, Forget the size, figure out the mothers, sisters, brothers, uncles and so on. I bred my male to a small female with the hope to make the size better, smaler more agile, to the point: son came up bigger thant the sire. I am still doing back flips since the dog is ment to do PSA. I fear his body could give up. We all thrive to do better by te dogs, sometimes it is not possible because genetics are pain. You would be surprise but there is possibility that the whole litter of yours if you breed them could be very much standard size. LOL.. I am trying to make them smaller you like bigger. HAve you thought maybe purchasing a dog from Russa (the one you posted before) and breeding those? You will not be mixing you would be following the bloodline that had been already established. | I told this story before - that when I purchased my male pup - I did not understand that their is such thing as oversize, I simply wanted a big dog. When I showed my male pup for the first time here, people told me he is oversize, I did not understand what that means "oversize", I had not desire to have and breed oversize dog, so at the beginning I was not sure what type my dog it was. But later I figured out what oversize means, but I really didn't care because I loved him almost like if he was my son. So even now I have no focus try to increase size and breed oversize dog "I will admit I did think about before", I simply wanted try to breed my male, and if the pups from him turns out standard size or a bit bigger it is fine with me. I really don't care or have desire to focus on the size of the pup; whatever I get - large or small size GSD I' am satisfy. But I will still go away, because people don't like me here! GSDPACK - I have no desire to get large GSD from Russia; but I do like big dogs, but I' am happy what I currently have:) For my 7.5 year old male, I will never breed him anyway, I just simply wanted to know what type he was, that is all..... Take care my friend :) :) EDIT: I did understand what crhuerta try to give me a better pup compare to my "giant freak" (as some people think), but I simply did not wanted a better pup, I also stated before that I made a contract with one of the top breeders to breed his SCH3 dog with my top pedigree females, I did had plans to have standard size high quality male for breeding purposes, but for right now I' am happy what I have. |

| This is what I wrote to crhuerta what he/she complains about it..... Who gave the Right to tell me that I should nurturer my dog or prevent me from breeding this dog, every-time I brag about my dog I get a negative responses. I love my dog the way he turned out. Later in time If I need to buy the standard size male, I can get it. Since I showed my dog here, then everybody techically should fight and suggest to all breeders not to breed oversize dogs and don't pick on me specifically, like I' am horrible person. I 'am not saying anything against you - I' am simply talking in general topic, Adolf Hitler believed that his race in the only right race and he wanted to eliminated others. I know you are the type of person who believes that their should be standard size GSD's that meets correct specifications of what the standard is and that is good. I' am not going to breed thousands or millions oversize dogs here, I simply wanted to try for few people around my area, and I have the right to try, if people suggest not to breed oversize, I respect their opinions, but not like forcing me to neuter my dog. I don't force anybody to do something, myself I could only suggest. So don't tell me that I ask stupid question here, most people on this forum don't like oversize GSD's and they wanted to eat me alive with this dog of mine. When I showed my dog for the first time here, posted my dog here, I never brag about titling "SCH Title" and people automatically explode against my dog when I showed him here, by saying to me that he is to big for SCH3 title and I never said anything for SCH title when my dog showed up on this forum for the first time. The reason I said it crhuerta fault is because he was forcing me to eliminate my dog from breeding! - He should had put effort to other breeders not to breed giant size and not pick on me. I don't have a hard feelings anymore and I' am not trying to be mean...... But I do wanted say sorry to crhuerta, I should have kept my mouth shut in the first place...... It was being interesting experience here for me:) Buy...... EDIT: PS. One time I was driving in the car with my grandfather, and I said to him look grandpa at this car that passing us, how cool it is, his respond was my car is better, I look at him with a strange look, he reply my car is better because it is my car. So I simply refuse the offer of the better dog with full potential, not because I don't like the offer - but simply I cannot remove the parts from my dog that belongs to him..... Dear, GSDPACK, I cannot lay hand on my dog that I have, please understand why I refuse the offer from crhuerta. |
